What do you like best about the product?
That all the applications/tools that we need to use can be accessed from a single place, without the need to add your credentials every single time. The platform is easy to implement and integrate with existing applications with excellent customer support.
What do you dislike about the product?
At this moment, I don't see any downsides of using the Okta platform and really happy to see it's various features, I use it daily to access a number of platforms/tools/application via SSO.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Okta solves the problem of managing secure access across multiple applications and systems by centralizing identity and authentication. It simplifies single sign-on, enforces strong security controls like multi-factor authentication, and reduces the operational burden of user access management. This benefits me by making it faster and easier to access the tools I need while ensuring security best practices are consistently applied, reducing friction without compromising safety.
Effortless Login with Push Notifications
What do you like best about the product?
I like the push notification system in Okta, that way I do not have to manually log in to the app and copy paste the code.
What do you dislike about the product?
Logging in takes some tome because of two factor authentication. Even though I understand why that is necessary from a security perspective, it still makes loging in cumbersome.

Easy to manage, easy to use for end users.

The 2FA choices are limited. You have to download Okta Verify app for it to work.

Okta helped us with user onboarding/offboarding especially when our majority apps are hosted online or the cloud.

Okta makes logging into applications straightforward and seamless. Features such as single sign-on and robust security stand out as particularly valuable aspects.

At first, I found it somewhat complicated to manage, and the price seems high, particularly when I use SSO.

The main benefit for me is that it helps manage the problem of having too many passwords. By logging into Okta, I can access all my other applications through single sign-on, which makes things much more convenient.
All-in-One Convenience with a Super Handy Chrome Extension
What do you like best about the product?
Everything I need is gathered in one convenient place, which I really appreciate. The Chrome extension is especially useful, as it allows me to quickly access the apps I use without cluttering up my bookmarks.

I honestly can't think of any improvements - it really is excellent just the way it is.

This saves me time because I only need to go to one place to access everything I need.

Okta provides a centralized and reliable identity platform that significantly simplifies user access management across many SaaS applications. The SSO experience is seamless, MFA policies are flexible, and user lifecycle automation (provisioning, deprovisioning, group-based access) saves a lot of operational time. Integration with popular tools like Google Workspace, Jira, Slack, and many others is straightforward and well-documented. Overall, it improves both security posture and IT efficiency.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some advanced configurations (such as complex group rules, automation edge cases, or troubleshooting provisioning issues) can be unintuitive and require deeper documentation or support involvement. Pricing can become expensive as the organization scales and additional modules are needed. Also, the admin UI could be more consistent and clearer in some advanced workflows

Okta solves the challenge of managing identities across many cloud applications by acting as a single source of truth for access control. It reduces manual work, minimizes human error, improves onboarding and offboarding speed, and enforces consistent security policies such as MFA and conditional access. This results in better security, faster employee productivity, and easier compliance management.

What is most valuable?
The Single Sign-On and Multi-factor Authentication features are the best that Okta Platform offers. These features make my work easier and more secure by automating joiner, mover, and leaver processes, so when a new employee is added to our HR system, their account is automatically created in Slack, Zoom, and the applications we use, increasing productivity without wasting time.
The sharing of secure access via user groups allows us to instantly provision access to shared tools for our remote project teams, ensuring they have exactly what they need when they join a call or project. Okta Platform has positively impacted our organization by dramatically improving our security posture, enforcing Multi-factor Authentication across all applications, and increasing productivity by allowing employees to access all their tools with one set of credentials.
What needs improvement?
Okta Platform could be improved by offering more out-of-the-box templates for advanced workflows and making the administration console faster when searching through a very large group of users.
For how long have I used the solution?
I have been using Okta Platform for approximately five years to manage identity and access across our global workforce.
What was our ROI?
We have seen a 60% reduction in password reset help desk tickets and a significant decrease in the time it takes to onboard new employees from when they join.
What other advice do I have?
I advise others looking into using Okta Platform to start with a clear group strategy before beginning; if the requirement for groups and naming conventions is organized from day one, setting up security policies and automated provisioning will be much easier. I would rate this product 9 out of 10.

Secure and Seamless Access with Okta
What do you like best about the product?
I like that Okta is very secure and provides a seamless login to our profiles, whether through the app or the email OKRs. It's particularly convenient to have Okta on our phones and use it on the go. Setting it up was also very easy. Once we set up our passwords and connected to our email, it was a single login via Okta, allowing us to log in to all our tools easily.
What do you dislike about the product?
It should have multiple device eligibility wherein I can have a backup device if something happens to my phone.

I use Okta for secure and seamless login to work profiles, making access convenient on the go. Setting it up was easy, requiring just password and email connection, enabling single login to all tools.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the ease of using Okta, as it makes logging in simple and easy. I enjoy the feature where I can just tap my fingerprint and not need a password.
What do you dislike about the product?
It did feel like needing to jump through quite a few hoops to initially get it set up, but no problems once it's set up. The initial setup when I started using it wasn't very easy, it seemed to take several steps.

Okta makes it easy and simple to log into a client's environment. I like the ease of using it, and I can just tap my fingerprint without needing a password.
