What do you like best about the product?
immutable backups, policies and the possibility to include VMs automatically.
all my clusters are on the same Helios page, I can see what happens even outside the company's local

Office 3665 Backup option
What do you like best about the product?
The pricing structure is per storage and not by user count, so in the long term it saves cost.
What do you dislike about the product?
The user interface for restores is difficult to find what you are looking for.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We now have a backup solution of our Office 365 content for compliance and regulatory purposes.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Do a trial run of the product and get things setup before you pay for the solution.
More efficient backup
What do you like best about the product?
I like the security of the system per user and enterprise level security, easy data management.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have no problems with the configuration and performance of the particular system.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Configure and manage data in the cloud, I do everything from one platform, I do not need backup copies on different external servers.
Cohesity Helios is Awesome
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to navigate great reports and works as intended.
What do you dislike about the product?
Gaining access to be and admin was a pain

Easy paint of glass, can view what i need and keep company happy
Helios for Audits
What do you like best about the product?
We like that this all sits on the same hardware as the Storage that we use. It keeps it fast.
What do you dislike about the product?
It feels like this product is very aggressive in trying to cover many bases. Sometimes there is value in covering one base really well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We will mainly be using this for auditing files and what is going on with them. There is much more capability built-in than we use.
Strong scalable secondary storage platform
What do you like best about the product?
Scalability, strong growing feature set and performance. Users are being heard if they provide feedback. Multitenancy and multi-cloud support gives a great feature set, clearly focused on future adoption of any cloud platform. Ease of use and maintenance: simple, single pane of management with strong and fast responsive HTML5 UI. Support is great and easy accessable.
What do you dislike about the product?
Currently, not the whole MS365 stack is supported. Planning of version updates is sometimes getting behind.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Offering storage and backup services for VMs, NAS, applications and MS365 environments in a multitenant environment. Benefits are its scalability and performance

What do you like best about the product?
Cohesity performs backups in a consistent, reliable fashion without over-complication. Recoveries are quick and granular recovery offered across a large number of sub-systems.
What do you dislike about the product?
We have experienced some bugs that have caused minor issues. vCenter integrations are fantastic and allow for VM tagging automation, but we have had issues with the tags getting ignored. vCenter might be to blame more than anything, but it was a large hiccup for us. Cohesity support is extremely responsive and we have never had an issue getting something resolved.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The obvious is that we are utilizing Cohesity to provide a highly versatile rapid recovery data platform. We can recover individual files and entire VMs in minutes. VM recovery actually mounts the recovered VM on the Cohesity cluster and copies it in the background, providing a great time to recovery. But that really is the shortest path to a use-case with this solution. Cohesity offers a full platform of tools, apps, and unconventional storage analytics to ensure that the data you have doesn't just sit. It will detect ransomware and offer automated recovery solutions. You can turn your Cohesity cluster into your file server with a simple restore function with Views. Views are file shares you can stand up in minutes. Updates are seamless and performed in the background without interruption.
Powerful BackUp And Restore Appliance That Will Be Even Greater In The Future
What do you like best about the product?
You can create BackUp Groups and sync them with you vCenter. As soon as so create a VM in the specific folder, the vm will be backuped.That is very useful and you don't have to configure every backup for every vm.
What do you dislike about the product?
Unfortunately, it often happens that bugs are delivered with updates. Sometimes also critical matters.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have a great backup solution and don't have worries about it that our backups could go wrong.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Just make enough test at the beginning with several VMs,SQL etc. Also do a PoC.
Easy Management and Faster Recoveries
What do you like best about the product?
Backups using web GUI made easy access from anywhere. Easy policy management, Job creation and recoveries are so fast as compared to other backup vendors. Non-disruptive upgrades, easy expansion and hassle-free hardware replacements and able to manage with less man power and no worries about house-keeping jobs. Easy connect to cloud to use as destination for Cohesity backup and archives.
What do you dislike about the product?

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Reductio in man power as there is no house-keeping jobs, non-disruptive one click upgrades and easy expansion as per data needs.

Reliable Backups and More
What do you like best about the product?
The platform just works. Coming from out other platform, Cohesity has made life so much simpler. It has cut our full backup window from 48 hours to 3 hours (using incrementals forever). Even if I were to push fulls across the environment, it would still get it done in under 24 hours for the whole environment.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish that they had automated backup testing (for full VM restores and files from particular backups).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We no longer use tape in our environment, which has gained us 20-30 hours a month across the team. The backups now work flawlessly across the board and that is a weight off of my shoulders. We are also now situated to be able to backup to the cloud AND backup our cloud infrastructure once we move in that direction.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Look into Rubric, but they do not have the elastic search function, which is a HUGE time saver. It dropped our time to restore a file from hours to minutes without requiring as much information from the end user.
