Phenomenal Product from a Really Great Company
What do you like best about the product?
The tool is well thought out and provides the structure and tooling that enables us to easily and efficiently manage historically complex operations such as progressive rollouts, targeted releases, A|B testing, and feature flagging. The support I've received from account managers, solution architects, and product managers is first class. They have been a great partner to work with.
What do you dislike about the product?
Permission management and its related mappings to an organizational structure have some growth opportunities, but the product is quickly improving in this area.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
LaunchDarkly has been a fundamental component in enabling the following behaviors in products I've managed at Production-level scale:
- launching and retiring interstitial UI elements and experiences tied to specific times of the year, events, or campaigns
- progressive, percentage-based rollouts of specific features
- targeted release of specific features to specific segments of a user base for testing and marketing purposes
- feature-level emergency "kill" switches
- lightweight CMS-esque editing and publishing capabilities for copy that changes frequently

Great tool for managing feature flags
What do you like best about the product?
This tool is very intuitive and easy to use. We have a lot of non technical folks in our company managing features for our client
What do you dislike about the product?
The a/b test feature could be better. We had to develop custom code on our end to support this use case.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Mostly this is used for feature flags, turning features on and off and segmenting users.
