Amazing product with great features
What do you like best about the product?
The simple UI and easy-to-use design flow icons. I have experienced tremendous support from the Blue Prism side as well. They acted as mentors when we established a CoE for our organization.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would have liked to have more training videos and uses cases with possible bottlenecks to be shared by Blue Prism. For some of the other tools, we have noticed they promote this among fellow users and developers.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Currently we are trying t use machine learning and BP together to distinguish emails with attachments and sentiment analysis of customer feedback included in the emails

A great tool for Automating almost all the platforms
What do you like best about the product?
The flexibility that Blue prism provides to automate any application, be it a web application or a Standalone application, makes it very practical for everyone.
What do you dislike about the product?
New features can be added to the user interface to make it feel better for the software user.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As an RPA Developer, I have automated several applications and built several digital workers, and I can see their work efficiently in various situations without any maintenance.
Process Automation Powerhouse
What do you like best about the product?
Blue prism has a lot of things going for it but the following are the highlights for me :
- Simple and easy to Learn UI: The user interface of Blue prism is very easy to learn and use.
- BP Community: This is the backbone of the software. Blue Prism has a very active community which is very useful to guide you whenever you are in doubt.
- Scheduling - BP has an inbuilt scheduler that is efficient and insightful.

What do you dislike about the product?
Chrome and Oracle integration are not up to mark. Web automation and Java automation can be improved. The software tends to lag a lot when big data files are thrown into it. The queue system also lags when trying to work on very big queues.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Enterprise process automation - As a big enterprise, we automate anything and everything that comes our way to save time and money. It could be web scraping on Chrome or order creation on heavy ERPs or MS Office tasks. We can help a very wide range of domains and functionalities like Finance, HR, Operations, Customer Support, and many more.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is better than most screen scripting automation tools in the market as it is logic-oriented and we can cater to multiple scenarios.
A tool for experienced developers
What do you like best about the product?
The tool is very stable when it comes to using selectors. The GUI is simple when designing the process flows. The compatibility with Microsoft-edge is very commendable too. As compared to the competitors, its decent when creating automations.
What do you dislike about the product?
This tool is not for newbies. You need to have experience with at least one RPA tool before you start learning Blue prism. The architecture is a bit complex, but for experienced developers, it's only a small learning curve.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am currently automating web-based data entry tools with Blue prism. Due to its selector stability, it is beneficial, and the automations don't break that easily.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Once have a knowledge or at least some basic understanding of other RPA tools such as UiPath. If it fails to work in your case, only then go for Blueprism.

I liked the tool as it very userfriendly as it can be opted very soon by a non techy.

Accooring to me VBO should we updated as per the patner updation.

It makes the work very fast and we can take breath as all the routine works can be handled by the bots.

If you have 1000s of processes, then search functionality is not available on all screens.

Most repetitive manual tasks are automated with this tool and the number of hours for ROI is excellent.

What do you like best about the product?
Blue Prism has a very user-friendly GUI. It easily integrates with several APIs such as IBM, Google, etc. It allows flexibility for most types of automation tasks with the added advantage of data security. In general, Blue Prism reduces the time to market and improves operational efficiencies. Lastly, it also provides the opportunity for users to collaborate their tasks without overlapping individual tasks.
What do you dislike about the product?
Blue Prism is still at the nascent stage of its launch, and hence the customer service is currently specific to license holders. Secondly, the user can install the tool only on Windows operating systems. Lastly, the trial version of the software has restricted access to several functionalities such as user collaboration, user contribution tracker, etc.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use this tool to read PDF documents in a pre-defined format (eg. insurance claims, booking confirmations, etc.) to extract various user details. The automated process drastically reduces the overall task to a few minutes, thereby improving the throughput of the project.

database growth in the Development environment. where turning the logs off is practically not possible

Blue prism is an easy-to-use RPA tool. It was the leader in RPA a couple of years back. Even though their product roadmap is promising, Their legacy thick-client architecture has some scalability issues.
With Hub's introduction,web-based control-room and 'Interact', they are very much alive in the competition. Their support service is exceptional and has a perfect user community. For the best part, they won't charge separately for Development licenses.

What do you like best about the product?
UI, Queue management, security, ease of development, drag and drop features, customizable library, Digital Exchange, Interact, Decipher etc. are just few features of blueprism which make it one of the best in the market. It's much easier to develop, deploy and manage processes in blueprism. The code stage and surface automation are two of the most powerful techniques using which you can develop anything and everything.

What do you dislike about the product?
Blueprism is excellent in its product delivery and features but there are certain improvements required from UI perspective (developer's point of view). Search feature while searching for credentials/environment variables is what i am looking for. Otherwise, as a tool, Blueprism always comes with its great products over time to time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Blueprism is solving the needs of the customers in every domain. We have delivered various processes helping customers during the tough phase of Pandemic and sharing the automated reports of Covid situation to the different governments of different geographies. Reduction in process cost, efficiency and engaging staff in some useful work rather than repetitive daily tasks, is what clients realized while we delivered successful automations using Blueprism.
