Best open source lowcode app builder
What do you like best about the product?
It is feature rich. It has all the basic widgets and elements required to build complex applications.
The development workflow is easy to integrate into our existing process with git.
The Appsmith team is very productive, releasing features at a very fast pace. They are also very reachable in case of issues.

What do you dislike about the product?
The release cycle can be better managed. Git based workflow is constantly breaking or hanging. A little more QA before release or partial rollouts would be advisable.
When the application reaches a certain level of complexity, there are performance issues. Unfortunately the flexibility of the platform is both it's strength and weakness as we can inadvertently perform a task in an inefficient way which leads to further degradation in user experience.

Very easy to work and most of our finance and recovery process runs in Appsmith, Customer Support

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Appsmith solves most of our issue, Like we have integrated with many platform, it help us to recovery of funds and fetching the user data etc,
Powerful and easy!
What do you like best about the product?
It's very easy to use, and works well. I like that it offers great functionality for free. You can create a dashboard and create forms in a short amount of time.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing at fault here! It works really well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using AppSmith to create an easily accessible app for recording and managing our teams' QA records. It works as a library to view QA records within any set time period, and to be able to track individual performance.
Zip with Appsmith's developer-first features
What do you like best about the product?
With AppSmith we have been able to ship a growth dashboard for Openvy, and an employee leave management tool in 4 weeks flat. Currently working on shipping another internal dashboard to track our user activity in the app.
Appsmith's developer-first features have made shipping really fast. Developers can also write code anywhere & also separate code into objects without managing it on the canvas.

What do you dislike about the product?
Some performances lag when we have large tables. Managing queries separately from the UI is a challenge today. It would be great if these issues gets unified soon.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Appsmith's developer-first features make low-code shipping really fast. Developers can also write code anywhere and use existing parts with ease in future shipping!
Exceptionally easy to get started
What do you like best about the product?
If you want whip up a dashboard or somethng to display data very very quickly, then Appsmith is probably the tool that will let you get that done in the fastest possible time. You can literally just connect a data source like google sheets or a DBMS and then have your UI ready right away.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish the onboarding journey would have guided me a bit better on how to go about using the tool. I also feel like the UI and workflow can seem clunky and could be slightly more polished.
But on the plus side, all the options that you need is right there infront of you.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It takes away the thinking of how to go about using a low-code tool and really helps you get things done in quick manner.
There is almost no friction in getting a dashboard up and running.

Appsmith is to internal tools what a co-pilot is to code
What do you like best about the product?
We have extensively used Appsmith to fulfill a substantial portion of our engineering and marketing internal tool needs at Plane. This product has proven exceedingly valuable, primarily owing to its capability to rapidly establish connections with various data sources in a matter of minutes.
What do you dislike about the product?
Performance can occasionally slow down, particularly when dealing with larger datasets, especially rows exceeding 5000. Seen bunch of feature requests on their GitHub, looking forward for lazy loads, better pagination etc.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Prior to using Appsmith, we constructed the majority of our internal tools (including dashboards for performance monitoring and marketing automations) from the ground up using Next.js. However, with the introduction of Appsmith, connecting to our existing data and creating tools atop it became remarkably effortless.
Unlocking a faster execution
What do you like best about the product?
The Appsmith templates got me started right away. Tool's super no-code friendly - it helped me get kickstarted on my internal sales performance monitoring dashboard. I was up and running by end of the day!
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the UI can have a bit of jazz, but more than that, I think the tool kind of solves for everything. So none I can think off.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
So Appsmith gave me a headstart while creating my Sales performance tracking application - i was mostly maintaining the data as part of internal excel sheets, with respect to my product sales performance. With Appsmith, I was quickly able to put together a functional Sales performance dashboard, along with advanced controls such as email tracking and sales logging from tickets.
Quick, decently powerful
What do you like best about the product?
It's surprisingly easy to quickly put up a few screens, add some basic forms, make a workflow and throw up a dashboard. Retool's another really good option out there and, to be fair, is faster when it comes to putting up standard workflows in the typical org super quickly, but the pricing is a downer.
Being open-source helps and the rabid community is a big plus.
Being open-source helps and the rabid community is a big plus.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's a bit light on native connectors. APIs aren't hard but I feel like some of the basics could/should have been easier to set up like sending an email, or pushing a message to a Slack channel based on events, stuff like that.
UI elements are a bit limited, reusability isn't a thing, and I don't love the responsiveness in mobile.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Makes it a lot easier to prototype and release stuff very quickly. I've noticed that stuff we've built has been sticking around lately and we haven't had/wanted to build full apps yet. Especially useful for those bridge-y internal tooling needs.
Very developer friendly
What do you like best about the product?
I find Appsmith very customisable and it makes my life easy as i am focussing on building custom dashboards. Extensive documentation also makes life very easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
Hopefully some more UI elements in the future!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
