What do you like best about the product?
HAProxy is easy to set up and has powerful features. It is reliable and highly performant.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can have a slightly steeper learning curve than eg. nginx.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We currently use clustered HAProxy in a high availability scenario to offer automatic failover on database and rabbitmq connections in a geo-redundant platform.

Everything works amazing, operator is great

There is nothing I can think about now that I can say I don’t like about haproxy

Managing all different networks and security
Solid, fast, and dependable load balancer
What do you like best about the product?
It’s fast, stable, and does exactly what it’s supposed to. Great for handling high traffic with fine-grained control. The health checks and stats interface are also very handy.
What do you dislike about the product?
The config file can be a bit tricky at first, especially for more complex setups. Some things aren’t super intuitive until you’ve spent time with the docs or examples.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
OpenShift Container Networking and no licence needed. (Keep ot low cost)

It is quite performant and easy to configure.
What do you dislike about the product?
Enhancing documentation. Nginx has more intuitive page about it.

Secure access to web applications inside the Openshift
Were using the community version for a short while and the setup and usage is very straightforward.

Easy to follow documentation, very simple set up.

At the moment cannot point anything that we dislike.

Solves the issue of loadbalancing internal proxies.

It works out of the box, we use haproxy a lot and enjoy working with it.

Sometimes documentation could be more clear as I was exploring rate limiting solutions

it can basically do most of the things expected of a as load balancer

The performance is just incredible, was about to handle thousands of requests per second without breaking a sweat.

The configuration file could perhaps be simpler.
