Cost effective load balancing solutions

- cost reduction compared to traditional load balancers.
- integration with WAF and other security rules.

I like the flexibility of HAproxy and the wide ability to apply across on-prem, OpenShift and the cloud

Editing the configuration file but that can easily be worked around with API calls or the GUI addon

It solves our security issues with their WAF - super important to our archetecture

What do you like best about the product?
HAproxy is a mature product that does its job and does it well. It suppports primarily TCP that makes it work with different TCP services.
What do you dislike about the product?
To build an HA proxy setup without it being a single point of failure you need to rely on VRRP that is not available in cloud environments.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Route MySql traffic.
