Using HAProxy as a load balancer for the control plane of a k0s cluster
What do you like best about the product?
It was incredibly easy to setup and generate a config using terraform to generate the IP addresses and fill it into a config template.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't have any complaints at the moment it works well
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I was having an issue where a very large number of logs were being generated by the lid balancer provided by open stack, HAProxy solved that problem for me and allowed me reduce errors and log storage usage whilst maintaining good performance

The documentation, this is not very easy to find the good information for specific requirements

It is a simple and straightforward solution to deploy.

The lack of a GUI interface and not being an appliance solution, needing to deploy a Linux-based machine.

Improved the security of all the production servers to a large extent. Load balancing. SSL/TLS termination. Health checking.

What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I can say with my experience is that we have to put almost everything in a single CFG file and not several CFGs to properly classify our config by URLs
