Switched to WPEngine for the speed, stayed for the support
What do you like best about the product?
I like the speed, security, and ease of setup
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes their aggressive cache causes problems, but that is the trade-off for fast loading sites
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
A strong partner to go along with my web design business. It's good to have a solid hosting recommendation on which I can build a site with minimal issues.
I sell online courses and WP Engine works great with my Wordpress site.
What do you like best about the product?
Back-end staging works well and I feel like my information is safe. Has some safety features that have helped me when using conflicting plugins.
What do you dislike about the product?
Because I am not a tech some things are hard for me to understand when making backend changes but I have had support when needed from my host.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My web team has helped when I can't figure things out on my own.

What do you like best about the product?
I love everything about WP Engine!
Their technology, UI, and support make them deservedly no.1 regarding WordPress hosting. The fact that WP hosting is their only business shows.
I am very familiar with other WP hosts and WP Engine is and will always be my first choice.

What do you dislike about the product?
It's a small thing but I don't like the info and alert popups in the UI. That was added about 2 years ago and it is annoying and not necessary.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Just the tech support in general is so great. What ever I pay each year to WPE is worth it and then some.
Easy to use and reliable!
What do you like best about the product?
Its quick and easy to use. Updates are seamless. Migrations are easy. The best platform for multiple staging sites and diagnostics.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have found that when applying updates in the dev site any new data that has come through the production site is lost through that short period. For example we lost a claim submission and the client did not follow up for two weeks and was not too impressed we had no details of the claim.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
WP Engine is a secure system that manages our staging, dev and prod sites. I feel confident we will have minimal issues with this hosting platform.

Fast, reliable help with anything. Confidence that WP Engine keeps my website safe and online.

A small quibble that you don't have easy access to all files like you would in c-panel but that is why they are a managed host

Uptime, speed, reliability and the knowledge that my website is secure without resorting to various plugins.
Excellent service for tech support
What do you like best about the product?
Tech support is responsive and helpful. The service is very secure – none of my sites have ever been hacked on this environment, unlike with budget hosting plans.
What do you dislike about the product?
The service is very expensive. You do not have access to C-panel or equivalent. There are limitations on site traffic and storage. You can only host Wordpress sites here.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
WP Engine has saved me a great deal of time when it comes to bug fixing as support is always on hand and responsive. I don't waste time fixing hacked sites anymore.
I would and do recommend WP Engine to anyone who has or wants a WordPress website. It's superior

WP Engine's platform is easy to use, reliable, secure, cost-effective and the customer support is second to none.

Nothing I can think of. The platform is better than any other hosting platforms I've used before.

WP Engine solves the problem of bad WordPress hosting. There are so many hosting platforms out there for WordPress, and in my opinion, WP Engine stands above the rest.
Top-notch hosting for WordPress
What do you like best about the product?
Fast servers and easy to manage backend. The backups are automatic and straightforward, plus extremely easy to create a staging environment to test changes before they go live.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's expensive, but you get what you pay for. Having hosted my own WordPress instances on my own before, I would much rather have everything managed like this than have to deal with the Apache server UI.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The amount of time we save from not having to self-manage our WordPress installs more than pays for itself. It's much easier to deal with the WPEngine backend than the alternative.
Pretty easy to use

WP Engine is one of my preferred hosts I use. I recommend it to clients and work on client accounts as a delegate user. Support is great, and the features make sense.
What do you dislike about the product?
The user interface feels slightly unintuitive to me, but that's probably because I'm bouncing between hosts often throughout the day.

WP Engine has flexible options that help agencies resell, scale, and receive top notch customer service. We also appreciate the tech which has provided optimal speeds for our sites as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
This is a little weird, but as you start to fill up dedicated servers, finding a way to affordably accommodate one or two sites as you grow your base of hosting clients can be challenging.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
They are solving the problem of needing a reliable host to accommodate multiple WordPress sites but they are also helping with their plugin update tool which helps keep the sites up to date.
