A good solid open source CMS.

What do you like best?
Easy to install and has lots of options. Very robust. For beginners it's probably not the best CMS to start with as wordpress is arguably easier to use. Drupal offers things like DRUSH which a beginner is not going to use.
What do you dislike?
not as easy as wordpress
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you've never tried wordpress you should probably get used to that first. Drupal is worth trying after you've done that.

Drupal is a great CMS.

What do you like best?
I've been building websites for over 10 years and usually coded everything manually in HTML. Using a CMS like Drupal just makes building and especially maintaining/updating a website effortless. It's extremely easy to add new content/pages and let Drupal automatically handle the URL naming, SEO, validation, spelling, and a lot of other useful things. I use Drupal pretty much every day for my company's website and I couldn't imagine going back to manually coding everything thing.
What do you dislike?
My only dislikes are the typical things that come with web design. Things breaking. Drupal doesn't have enough protection when it comes to breaking the site. Sometimes I will alter a CSS style for the main layout of the site and upon saving the file, if something isn't correct, it cripples the website. Obviously, this is why you have a dev version and a live version, but it would still be nice to have more fail-safes integrated.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Technology has evolved to make a web designers life easier in the form of a CMS - Drupal is by far the best CMS out there.

Drupal: A powerful content management system

  • March 17, 2013
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best?
A powerful, free open source solution with a thriving user and developer community.
What do you dislike?
Major upgrades (ie version 5 to 6, 6 to 7, 7 to 8) and complex and may require a complete rebuild.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Understand your requirements

Open Source PHP based CMS

  • November 15, 2012
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best?
Tons of plugins available, easy to extend and improved, great for hackers
What do you dislike?
Learning curve is steeper that Joomla, you really need to commit yourself to learning it in order to get something out of it. I know it is more robust than Wordpress but I have yet to come across functionality that I needed that is available in Drupal but not in Wordpress
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Do a serious evaluation before you decide on this CMS. It may be the right one for you but make an informed decision.

    Capital Markets

Flexible and Feature Rich

  • September 27, 2012
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best?
It's open source. You have full control over customization and look/feel. Lots of third party plugins and built in features that make Drupal a great platform to build a multi-user web application. Set up is also as simple as a few clicks. It also has a nice user workflow/permissions system.
What do you dislike?
Customization does require technical knowledge (someone with PHP skills or prior Drupal dev experience would be ideal).
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Lots of companies have used Drupal successfully.
