What do you like best about the product?
I like that it houses all our data and excel spreadsheets that we used to manually do to get reports from that data we were able to build and domo and it does them automatically for us everyday.
What do you dislike about the product?
They say you don't need to know SQL to really use but it makes things difficult if you don't have any knowledge on it. The new AI feature appears to help in this though.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Its helping automate alot of jobs that were done manually by individuals. Its now giving back hours of time to those individuals to do other things.
So Easy to Use
What do you like best about the product?
Domo provides us automated reporting for business users with limited experience in coding/SQL yet allows our organization to provide near real-time data to all of our users with a great mobile interface!
What do you dislike about the product?
We don't have any issues with our use of the product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Domo is allowing us to have automated reporting across thousands of cards in near real-time. We would only be able to produce 1% of the content we produce now without Domo.
Solid and Improving
What do you like best about the product?
Magic ETLs are great to bridge gaps between skill levels to be able to work to manipulate data and I like being able to visually see/preview what I am doing.
What do you dislike about the product?
Limitations of the pivot cards and preview limitations make it a little difficult to display large datasets.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Domo is pretty essential to the whole company from supply chain planning, sales goals, sales projections, machine forecasting. And is really great to have something to where all of this lives and can be combine at anytime.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the versatility and customization for visualizations that help capture the attention of the audience and stakeholders. The ease of use makes it easy to frequently use Domo with customers and provide support using descriptive and prescriptive analytics.
What do you dislike about the product?
Fees and extra charges for each additional product/feature detract from the maximum potential for small businesses or not-for-profit businesses.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
By using Domo we are able to find areas of improvement based off of statistical analysis. Which in turn provides quantifiable results on timelines and geographical locations within my company.

Helps me keep track of all my data across multiple programs and initiativeals.

What is our primary use case?
I primarily use Domo for building reports and dashboards against our Snowflake data warehouse. It is utilized in a university setting with a couple thousand students.
What is most valuable?
Domo is a local company, and I have found it to be rock solid. I have been using it for four years and have been able to extract the information I need from it.
What needs improvement?
One of the biggest problems is that end users require a license to run their own reports and dashboards, which are fairly expensive. Domo is also not the easiest product to use and is more expensive to maintain and support. Additionally, data caching issues, limited scheduling options, licensing, and AI feature costs need improvement.
For how long have I used the solution?
I have used the solution for four years.
What do I think about the scalability of the solution?
Sigma, which is written for Snowflake, scales more easily than Domo. Domo's ability to handle scalability is limited.
How are customer service and support?
Domo's customer service gets back fairly quickly but can be slow at times, especially for smaller clients. While they eventually provide the correct answers, their support for smaller customers could be improved.

How was the initial setup?
The initial setup of Domo is more complex compared to Sigma. I would rate Domo as a six or a seven in terms of complexity, whereas I might rate Sigma as a nine in terms of ease of use.
What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?
Domo is expensive compared to other solutions.
Which other solutions did I evaluate?
I am considering Sigma and am evaluating its features compared to Domo.
What other advice do I have?
Overall, I would rate Domo as a six. In the early years, I might have rated it an eight, but as I have learned more about it, my assessment has gone down. We are a university, and we did not originally choose Domo; it was selected by a previous CFO. Our current evaluation indicates it might be oversized and costly for our needs, so we're considering alternatives.

What do you like best about the product?
I love being able to customize what data pertains to each department in our office.
What do you dislike about the product?
I strongly dislike that the data takes 24 hours to update. The data is not in real time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to see our conversion rates based on how many cases we sign up each month. This has been helpful when applying bonuses for specific teams. Goal setting makes this possible through DOMO.

The pipeline features and data ingestions in Domo are quite good.
What needs improvement?
Dashboard settings in Domo are not much different from other platforms like Power BI. Data integration is okay, but not the best. Additionally, sometimes, if you want to revert data, Domo lacks features for rectifying these errors effectively.

We have been using Domo for around one year.
What do I think about the stability of the solution?
The stability of Domo is reliable. It does not break down, and support is also good.

We were using Domo for a long time. We did not use any other product prior to Domo.

I'm not sure about the pricing. We just use it.

I would recommend Domo. It is okay for dashboard use and easy to use.

What do you like best about the product?
The barrier to entry for Domo is very low, you can learn basic concepts very quickly and easily. There are also many support channels and videos for any questions you may have when collecting and processing data.
What do you dislike about the product?
One downside that comes to mind is the ability to collect data straight to Domo. There are many ways to capture data and link it to Domo, but nothing specifically straight to Domo. There are also othe ways of viewing and structuring cards that do not currently exist.

Domo is helping us collect data to create daily, weekly, etc. reports that inform the Managers of where the business is and how it is performing.
