Not so hot

What do you like best?
The standard setup is simple and has an easy admin interface.
What do you dislike?
I find a lot of the other CMS like Drupal and "Wordpress" have many more options, plugins, and themes. I hint joomla is a little dated and just doesn't have the community like others do.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Ty Drupal first

Easier of the 2 major PHP based CMS

  • November 15, 2012

What do you like best?
Open source, tons of plugins, many of them free, easier to learn compared to other PHP based content management systems.
What do you dislike?
It appears that there are more pay for plugins for joomla than drupal, not as robust or flexible as drupal
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Shorter learning curve PHP based CMS, easier to use than Drupal

What do you like best?
Joomla is a extremely powerful CMS that is Open Source, and allows complete customization. The Joomla community is also great, and hundreds (if not thousands) of add-ons exist for free (mostly) or for a charge.
What do you dislike?
Good knowledge of PHP and other web langues is required to manage and maintain the experience
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Joomla is my favorite open source CMS, and I would always recommend people looking into it!
