User-Friendly, Fast, and Efficient
What do you like best about the product?
I find eFax Online Fax Service significantly faster than traditional faxing, and I love that it saves paper. The service is super user-friendly, with fast sending and receiving times, and it's well-priced. The initial setup was super easy, and once I figured out how to set up the notifications to my email, it made using eFax so much better.
What do you dislike about the product?
Setting up the notifications to my email wasn't straightforward initially. Also, I think when logging in it should take you directly to your message inbox instead of the send fax screen.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
eFax Online Fax Service is significantly faster than traditional faxing and saves paper. I love its user-friendly interface, fast sending and receiving times, and reasonable pricing.

What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about eFax Online Fax Service is how easy and reliable it is. I can send and receive faxes from anywhere without needing a fax machine, which saves time, space, and hassle. The interface is user-friendly, documents are delivered quickly, and having everything stored digitally makes it simple to search and organize important files. It’s especially convenient for handling business or legal documents on the go, and the security features give me peace of mind. Overall, eFax makes faxing modern, efficient, and stress-free.
What do you dislike about the product?
What I dislike about eFax Online Fax Service is the pricing, which can feel a bit high compared to some newer alternatives, especially if you don’t fax often. Occasionally, large attachments can take longer to send or require resizing, and I’d like to see more flexibility with included pages each month. That said, the service is reliable overall, but a more affordable plan or clearer overage pricing would be a welcome improvement.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
eFax Online Fax Service solves the problem of needing a physical fax machine, dedicated phone line, and paper supplies to send and receive faxes. Instead, I can fax documents directly from my computer or phone, which saves time and eliminates the hassle of maintaining outdated equipment. This benefits me by streamlining my workflow, reducing clutter, and making it easy to manage, store, and access important documents digitally. It’s especially helpful when I’m traveling or working remotely, because I can fax anytime, anywhere without being tied to a machine.
Great Features, Steep Learning Curve
What do you like best about the product?
I don't have to fight with a printer/fax anymore, which is a relief. Anything I can scan into my computer is much easier to work with. eFax Online Fax Service pulls communication options all into one place, making the sending procedure simple and easy. It's easier and more dependable than using printer/fax features.
What do you dislike about the product?
I had it well learned and knew just how to use it until the interface changed. So I'm still in the process of learning the new software. With the older interface it was very easy to follow. For me, the newer interface seems to have a lot of things "hidden" throughout the program and directions to find some things are not very clear. I know technology is quickly changing but I don't think jumping into the "new way" is always to the advantage of the customers/clients of eFax. If it's not broken, there is no need to fix it. And the older version of eFax, for me, was not broken. If anything, the newer version seems broken and scattered. With the older version, it was very easy. I would not recommend this newer version to a "new comer" to fax online software. Perhaps eFax could offer a free, online tutorial. They may have, I don't know. But just using eFax the way I do, I'm pretty much self taught; just like every other software I have ever used since back in the late 80's. Not everyone is able to "self-teach.

I don't have to fight with a printer/fax anymore. eFax simplifies faxing by pulling everything into one place, and the sending procedure is simple and easy.
Convenient for PDF Faxes, but Slow Turnaround Times
What do you like best about the product?
I like that with eFax Online Fax Service, I don't need to have a physical fax machine anymore. It allows me to send PDFs directly without printing documents, which makes the process much simpler. Plus, it saves paper. The initial setup was very easy; just setting up the number was straightforward.
What do you dislike about the product?
I hate the delays. I hate how long it takes for a fax to go through because a lot of times I'm on the phone with IRS. I send a fax. And then I have to sit there and wait for five minutes before it actually goes to them. And then they have to wait for a while to receive it on their end. It's just a very time consuming process, whereas a fax machine I were to buy one, would be much faster. So if they could improve the turnaround time, it'd be ideal.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use eFax Online Fax Service as my fax machine for my CPA practice, eliminating the need for an actual fax machine. It makes it easier to fax PDFs instead of printing and manually sending, saving paper and streamlining communication with the IRS.
Fast, High-Quality Faxes with Room for Feature Improvements
What do you like best about the product?
Faxes come quick and are of comparable quality to a traditional fax machine. The UI makes it easy to open (download) each individual fax. The ability to preview them makes finding older faxes easier. I utilize eFax daily and it is easier to manage than a physical fax machine (and much quieter!)
What do you dislike about the product?
Some features that seem basic are behind paywalls, such as the ability to organize faxes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
eFax makes it so we don't have paper faxes everywhere. It makes taking downloading the fax and getting it into patient files easy and quick.
Convenient and Reliable, Despite Availability Issues
What do you like best about the product?
I like the convenience of eFax Online Fax Service, which allows me to work from anywhere for my clients. I also appreciate that it lets me forward essential documents securely. The initial setup was very easy, and I find this especially beneficial.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's been issues on availability because the site was down or hacked, but they allowed me to continue to use the services through their Canada site and I was able to continue to work.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use eFax Online Fax Service to receive critical documents without needing a physical fax machine, saving on copy paper expenses. It offers the convenience to work from anywhere and securely forward essential documents.
Remote Access Is Great, But Reliability Needs Improvement
What do you like best about the product?
I can access it from anywhere which is very helpful when I am working from different offices.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is not always reliable. Some faxes don't come through, some outgoing faxes don't always make it out. It isn't super often, but it does happen with enough regularity that it is annoying.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to share the fax as a company that is spread out too far to go to the same location. It is helpful to have the ability to all utilize the same tool even when we work from different places.
Reliable and Fast, But Needs Better Peak Time Performance
What do you like best about the product?
I like eFax Online Fax Service because it is very reliable and makes communication fast. The initial setup was very easy, and I value the message features I use. I appreciate that it plays a crucial role in my work communications.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes during peak hours, the faxes will not go through (2pm).

I use eFax Online Fax Service for work to communicate quickly, and it's very reliable.

What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use, online access and ability to send documents by email, reduction in the use of paper.

Assurances around security are not clear.

eFax allows for the reduction in the use of paper as documents can be retrieved and transmitted electronically. eFax also diminishes the need to be at a physical location to fax and receive documents which supports remote work effectively. eFax also eliminates the need for a phone line dedicated to fax.
