EventStream for your Data Compliance Needs

  • October 25, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
EventStream, in combination with its suite of products, can remove any Personal Health Information (PHI) or Personal Identifying Information (PII) from your analytics and ensure your data analytics is protected and HIPAA compliant. Their platform is a game-changer for our data analytics .
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a very steep learning curve of their product suite, but once your team is up-to-speed, there is no other suite of products more robust.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Tealium EventStream to set the Events within our data layer and provide the rules of where the data will land. The benefit we have seen is keeping our data and platforms across our marketing stack in HIPAA Compliance.

Robust solution

  • October 22, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The audience can be easily managed by the Marketing team with limited knowledge of coding and cut down the dependency of the Development team.
What do you dislike about the product?
Too many things to learn and more profound training required.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are currently working on Implementing and benefits yet to realize and measure it. we aim to solve the unification of data and activation in real-time across different channels.

Great functionality, bad UX

  • October 22, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It provides a lot of versatility because it's not bound to a specific platform like Google or Adobe. Also, the history change view that looks like Github version control.
What do you dislike about the product?
Because of the flexibility, it is way harder to make implementations that are otherwise simple and straightforward in Google Tag Manager. Also, the UI/UX is just bad.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
None, using it because clients were using it.
I haven't found any benefit that is unique to the platform or that puts them ahead of competitors. That being said, their support is really good and can actually help you do some of the implementation but I think that depends on the contract that they have with the client.

More complicate than GTM to debug / understand why a tag is not fired.

  • September 09, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Technical Features: JQuery and Extensions + Tag template when well understood.
What do you dislike about the product?
QA tool / Debug tool. difficult to undertsand why a tag is not fired (vs GTM). but sometimes less native features (scroll tracking , Timer) than GTM .
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Track events with JQuery and push media tags.

Few CDPs are as robust as Tealium

  • August 17, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Straightforward for novices but still powerful enough to work in even the most complex enterprise data environment
What do you dislike about the product?
Tealium sometimes oversells their developing capabilities but the core functionality is great
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Never before have we been able to bridge the customer experience gap between multiple tech stacks. Tealium CDP finally gives us a single view of the digital customer so we can personalize their experience consistently across all platforms.

In a world where 1st party data is currency, Tealium is the best exchange

  • August 17, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
real-time sync between server-side (like CRM, SIS, LMS, data warehouse type data), user ID stitching across our defined identities, Tealium support team is incredibly responsive.
What do you dislike about the product?
Tealium AudienceStream is fantastic, thus a 9/10; however, no technology is absolutely perfect, so although I provide this list with the hope of future build outs:)

1) Limited integration with the Google Cloud Platform.
2) AudienceStream data is housed in Tealium-managed AWS infrastructure, it would be great if we could maintain a copy of the production data, or the production version itself, on our own hosted cloud infrastructure, whether it be GCP, AWS, or Azure
3) It would be great to have access to logs of AudienceConnector activity, to either verify successful sends or better understand when an error occurs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Merging authenticated and un-authenticated digital experiences into a single profile so we can leverage both defined/confirmed and/or probabilistic attributes in our service operations.

Building a robust user-ID keyring so various systems can more easily speak with each other.

Provide enhancements to higher education pre-enrollment and post-enrollment activities.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Leveraging Tealium's AudienceStream project via custom integration with Google's Google Tag Manager server-container may better position Tealium assets loading on web assets.

Tealium flexible and complicated

  • August 16, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Tealium Audience stream allows customers to build complex audience activations with robust audience membership criteria. Tealium team is responsive and open to feedback
What do you dislike about the product?
UI does not offer real-time full audience visibility. Need to query landed data to understand full audience counts. Error logging and logging in general is tough to come by.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Omni channel audience activation.

Great tool for website

  • August 11, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It does what they say it will do, and offer any support needed.
What do you dislike about the product?
Steep learning curve with Audience Stream
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Need more support than originally thought due to how advanced the CDP actually is.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Still learning all the benefits of this product, but tools are there to take our website to the next level.

Their approach towards FPD really helps companies to prepare for the next era of digital marketing.

  • August 03, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I'm able to use a software that is way ahead of its competitors and the whole industry. And, of course, the 1000+ integrations.
What do you dislike about the product?
Most of the product guides are helpful, but in some cases, the value proposition is missing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can prepare for a digital world without third-party cookies. Meanwhile, still keeping the business momentum and the value from digital marketing activities.

Cool things I always wanted to do is finally possible.

  • June 21, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The myriad possibilities of segmenting, activating, analyzing audiences, and the DIY element that comes with it, is the best components. We are not limited by "the borders" of the software in the different ways we want to connect data. The API library is incredibly wast; it doesn't let you down. Even if there is no OOB connector per se, there is always a way to make it happen, albeit via simple coding using existing Tealium protocols or raising a request to the support team to roll out the bespoke data connector.
What do you dislike about the product?
I work with a team that manages the product implementation for us. The interface and the functionalities look a bit intimidating. I currently don't even dare touch it before having completed my Tealium certifications. I sometimes want to dip my toes in the water to explore, but I always got anxious about "breaking" the system if I pressed the wrong button.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a B2B business, we primarily use our CDP to leverage a lead scoring mechanism and personalize and automate instrumental conversations at the right stage of the lifecycle of a customer.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
My recommendation is to have an agreement in place internally about the custodianship of the product, plan or foresee cross-departmental usage and agree on a process.
