We have had a great experience using Automox. It is easy to deploy and very easy to track issues.
What do you like best about the product?
Automox deploys not only to Windows & macOS but also to Linux. And it works on our servers as well. And I use the API routinely.
What do you dislike about the product?
Our employees dislike being forced on a timeline to update their laptops. And Apple makes corporate updates very hard. This is not an Automox problem but a company problem.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Pushing out updates in a timely manner to our end users. Before Automox, we had no way of knowing that updates were being performed.

Very Useful patching product
What do you like best about the product?
Ability to patch easily - windows, linux and some third-party patches.
What do you dislike about the product?
Unable to patch most of third-party patches.

Ease of onboarding, reporting, ease of use and integration with our vulnerability management application. regular product updates from the automox team

As of yet, I am unable to find a downside, the application does exactly what I need it to.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
patch management for multiple applications, not just OS, it is now easy to see patch levels across all devices. Automox also integrates with our vulnerability management solution
Zero to Hero Config Management
What do you like best about the product?
How easy it is to get the solution online. With very little effort I'm patching and running worklets across Windows, Linux and Mac on and off the network.
What do you dislike about the product?
Too many pricing tiers. A lack of audit on what users are doing within the console. No version control or audit on worklet or policy changes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Automox solves patching based on a patch release date for a "ringed" deployment strategy. Ability to build worklets with scripts and payloads.
Amazing product!
What do you like best about the product?
We bought this during Covid so we could patch machines remotely and it has been amazing to work with!
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I dislike is if you go over your licenses, then you can't deploy any new agents.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is automatically patching computers and making sure people are rebooting their machines to apply the patches.

Easy to setup policies, etc. And very easy to distribute msi to our laptops.

What do you like best about the product?
The user interface is cool and easy to use, and managing the devices. Also, worklet/PowerShell is very powerful

The report is not very useful from a vulnerability management perspective

Automox saves time and provides additional insights
What do you like best about the product?
I like that it is cloud-first, multi-tenant, and multi-os. I like that it takes care of basic patching automatically and also allows more customization when needed, very helpful for us and our clients.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'd like to see better overview reporting of all tenants so that myself and the team can identify where they need to put their time. So rather than choose each tenant, and then see what requires action, be able to see that at a global level. This would save a lot of time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Patch Management is the simple answer. But it also helps answer the questions around zero-day patches where we can provide our clients specific reporting that 25%, 50%, 75%, etc... of their devices have been patched. They love having that data!
Automox is an excellent option for patch devices
What do you like best about the product?
For me, the best part of Automox is the easier of use, the new option of remediation and the community. I can find a lot of interesting information there.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that sometimes the update has issues and some devices appear disconnected.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Now with Automox, I can monitor the devices and apply the patch using the schedule, which helps the organization prevent cyber attacks.
Extremely User Friendly and Easy to use
What do you like best about the product?
I like how simple it is to setup groups and begin updating devices right from the get go! We were able to get our devices patching in next to no setup time. In fact, we didn't even need all of the time slated for setup with the onboarding team.
What do you dislike about the product?
The authentication piece I feel, is a little clunky but not a deal breaker. I know we are able to use SAML login through Google which would be great but we still have to enter our email addresses each time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have many devices that leave our internal network in the hands of users on a variety of networks. Having piece of mind knowing these devices are going to be up to date and secure.
