Amazon Linux encryption and instantiation.
What do you like best about the product?
I like the ability to be able to analyze and manage user data; you can generate keys for hosts being configured; the feature to add public keys to facilitate logins for administration has a part of preparing repositories which allows me to manage packages better; the integration with Amazon Elastic and Amazon EC2.
What do you dislike about the product?
Too many protocols for package installation and too many runtimes for my taste, the only supported method to connect to instances is SSH. I wish were more methods; I would like more security updates.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use it to transmit configuration actions integrating it with Amazon EC2; it is also a viable option when it comes to data analysis since it has excellent security encryption, the fact that it is based on Linux allows us to program better in PHP, it is helpful to improve user security.

There are multiple things, but the main thing is the backend support of RedHat that makes things smooth, and also it comes with easy-to-use instructions.

Nothing disliked, all good. it is awesome.

Running multiple apps together and helpful a crucial role in backing up the server is very helpful.

I see anything to dislike but it will be good have different level of backup strategies while creating an AMI.
Like instead of incremental backup, user should get option to select full backup as well.

I have been a user for almost 6-7yrs and Amazon Linux AMI os solving many problems like take a backup of existing EC2 as well helps in maintaining silver and gold images as per application requirements.

It's very useful for the backup of the server when we are going to change in the server then we have that ami so we can use it if we want revert back those changes
Very beginner friendly and easy to use with ec2

It is also available for on premise use for testing. and Linux kernel which is fine-tuned for working best with ec2

Not that I think of. pretty straight forward like centos.

As being frequent ec2 user I have to deploy lots of stuff over ec2 instances and Amazon linux has out of the box support for the tech stack we use.

It's good that it is managed by RedHat and managed by RedHat so that we will always have the support of RedHat for Linux. It will make our task much easier to launch an EC2 instance.

Not suitable for high graphics games. Also we can not make changes in there as it is managed and maintained by Amazon itself.
