I am an IT department head in my college, and I use GoAnywhere MFT to send student marksheets and records to Anna University. When students are placed at top companies, those companies request a verification process, and we send our student data via GoAnywhere MFT during this time. GoAnywhere MFT is used to automate student records to the universities. Whenever a new file or new student data is inserted, it automatically checks and sends it to the university and reports back to me. If I want to send student data to any top companies, I do this manually, and this represents most of the use cases in our college.
I use GoAnywhere MFT to send files most of the time, and I consider those connectors. Whenever we want to connect our student data with cloud services without writing code, we integrate it at that time. This is actually a good feature and a wonderful feature. We are currently maintaining our data on a database only, but if I want to move into the cloud, we will use these connectors very easily. This is the greatest benefit.
Student data is very crucial to both the college and students, so if the file format is right, the encrypted PDF is connected to SFTP and uploads safely. It also generates a receipt and emails it back to me, so in this way the data is encrypted and sent, making it very secure.
I use that automation, and in our college, we have the My Camu app. If any student currently enters or edits his data and uploads it to that app, it will be saved into my folder, and I will check it through GoAnywhere MFT. If any new file or folder arrives, it encrypts it and sends it to the universities and reviews me about the status of the file, whether it is sent or received, or what the university said about it. This is the automation that I use here.
