The good MFT
What do you like best about the product?
I have loved this software because it is very easy to use and very robust when it comes to integrating with various systems, it has allowed me to reduce development times and deliver projects with unsurpassed quality

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The problem that I have been able to solve is the consumption of SOAP and REST services without major problems, which has considerably reduced development time.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is the best option for flow management
GoAnywhere MFT is the go-to for file transfer services.
What do you like best about the product?
The number of features and options available. The platform has every conceivable option. We use it for multiple purposes.

Some features will require advanced workflow/scripting skillsets.

We use the platform for:
1. FTPS downloads of firmware to our equipment.
2. Secure, web-based file sharing.
3. Moving files from Amazon S3 to Wasabi

Excellent System for Managed File Transfer
What do you like best about the product?
This tool is one of the most flexible and robust tools that are out there. We are able to configure multiple resource backings quickly, templating with those resources allows us to provision customer accounts with little intervention. This product really is almost set it and forget it.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I do not like is the UI. It feels dated at this point. I am told, though, that a UI uplift is coming soon.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We needed to securely transfer files between our customers and us without needing to add FTEs.
I have been pushing management for years to get GoAnywhere and now that we have it...
What do you like best about the product?
The user interface makes it easy for most of our developers to understand it quickly.
What do you dislike about the product?
We haven't found much that we dislike. There are little annoyances here and there, but they are minor in the grand scheme of things.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It has made uploading user data, in the form of spreadsheets, much more manageable, and the process setup time is short.

Ease of creating and transferring files and exceptional support

When a job fails which is rare the information provided in logs can be generic

We have been able to automate creating, manipulating and transferring file from many different sources and destionations
GoAnywhere has been very reliable and easy to implement
What do you like best about the product?
The integration of GoAnywhere into our Windows Active Directory environment was extremely easy. Having a central administrative point for all our ftp/sftp connections has been such an added bonus.
What do you dislike about the product?
Unfortunately, this system is still built on Java
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Simple processes like just moving data files from one location to another and more complex processes such as pgp encrypting file.
We can also reduce SMB traffic on our firewall by implementing the GoAnywhere agents on devices that are in segmented subnets.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are looking for a value-added option to centrally administer your data movements, ftp/sftp or sharing data with external partners or branches, then you should really give GoAnywhere an honest look.

The upsides of using GoAnywhere is the ease of use and it being unnecessary to write code to facilitate file transfers or interfaces to other systems.

The library of pre-built templates isn't easy found.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Solving the issue of not having time or resources to custom program file transfers including error logging, retries, etc.
GA is one of the simplest and most reliable applications we run in our shop. Truly dependable.

The realiablity and the simplicity. Everything is so simple to use

There is nothing we really dislike. We have not had any issues with GA or the support staff. Everyone is great.

We mostly use for file movments but we did create an entire automated employee ach financial distribution system off of GA. An issue that was several years old was solved with GA

The software has allowed us to scale to the next level, and we now can say we have an enterprise-grade solution.
The platform is very user friendly
We have been able to extend the service to other non-technical teams with ease do to the fact that the tool is intuitive.

Only issue I would state is the portability to use AWS

With the deployment of MFT into our environment, we have been able to decommission a complex in house solution that was not easy to use.
We have greatly benefited from the flexibility to deliver files to small companies utilizing secure folders.
