Supporting GoAnywhere MFT tool globally in JLL as DataTech Tool Admin (Platform and Operational)
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use, secure, superb integration with different applications and resources.
What do you dislike about the product?
Cannot open multiple tabs for the same login, like one for resources and another for project run monitor, Admin page, and so on
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Date security and transfer with PGP and Certificates. Clients feel happy.

What do you like best about the product?
GoAnywhere is one of the best products I've ever procured and continues to exceed my expectations in functionality and customer service. The customer support is phenomenal. They're professional, fast, and go the extra mile with their level of assistance. They will literally write the scripting project for you.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't have any dislikes. However, if there was a wishlist, I would entertain a proposal to augment my IT department to include the GoAnywhere support team. Specifically, I'd like to assign internal IT support tickets directly to GoAnywhere support staff, thus not requiring internal IT resources.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
GoAnywhere allows my organization to consolidate several disparate FTP servers into a single fully redundant solution.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
There are several MFT products available, some of which are pretty pricey. GoAnywhere has a great ROI with high reliability. The sanity of knowing I have this tech at my disposal is immeasurable.

What do you like best about the product?
That any task I challenge GA MFT with, there has been a solution.
What do you dislike about the product?
I can't think of one thing that I don't like about the product or the support. Both have been great.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use GA MFT for tasks like sending/receiving files to FTP sites, automating report distribution within the company, intercepting EDI files, and making corrections before sending them on their path. The list goes on and on. Most tasks are set up with a scheduler or are triggered using a monitor, so they are fully automated. Having GA MFT allows us to solve critical business process problems quickly and reliably.

It just works. Easy to use and reliable.
What do you dislike about the product?
No folder structure in Monitors as there is in Projects.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With GAMFT we stopped using in-house macros and unsupported software.

What do you like best about the product?
Automating using Goanywhere trigger, We send alerts and notifications email in real-time using sftp file triggers. We run our decryption jobs based on the "upload successful" trigger so that our decryption can only trigger once the file is fully received.
What do you dislike about the product?
I guess there is nothing that I dislike. I wish for few minor enhancements around PGP Key ID information in the decryption logs so that we can see the PGP key ID, which was originally used to encrypt the files.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We deal with a lot of to and fro file-based traffic, which needs to be encrypted at rest and in transit. Goanywhere helps us to manage all that seamlessly. KMS vault for PGP keys is an additional benefit.

UI and capabilities are endless. Usually more than one way to accomplish something.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing that I dislike about GoAnywhere. They are always adding features

More efficient SFTP and HTTPS endpoints, and now weve added the benefit of ICAP/DLP Scanning in conjunction with clearswift.

Hands down the most comprehensive and up to date MFT software out there.

What do you like best about the product?
The versatility of the product. It's more than just a file transfer program. It automates databases, file manipulation, scripts and more!
What do you dislike about the product?
The real downside for me is the GUI. I wish they had a desktop based admin IDE. Not saying the web based admin doesn't work I just think it's wonky sometimes.

File transfers, encryption, database, scripts and many other processes are being automated and it's a great product.

Buy it! It really is an awesome product.
Go Anywhere - SFTP of choice
What do you like best about the product?
The SFTP is great but when you add the workflow piece, it makes Go Anywhere a very effective and powerful business tool.
What do you dislike about the product?
To take advantage of all the benefits of Go Anywhere you have to buy add ons etc. It would be nice if it were an all-inclusive cost and the features were included even if the initial cost was higher.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We receive PGP encrypted zip files from clients and using a trigger, we are alerted of the arrival of the files. That same trigger then launches a workflow that decrypts the file, relocates the file, unzips the files in their final destination for processing. The original encrypted file is then deleted by the same workflow.
These automation steps have allowed us to make the somewhat long process a much easier and automatic process. The workflow also sends an email to the processing unit to alert them that a file has arrived.

I like the fact you can move, manipulate files on the fly

A change in the visual appeal would be nice after a few upgrades. Hard to tell that you have change versions.

What do you like best about the product?
Goanywhere MFT works on all platforms IBMi/Windows etc. Easy to Manage, XML, JSON support. REST & SOAP API support, Goanywhere services can be called using there API Services. We installed it on IBM'i & call the services internally & externanly as well. works flawlessly. Goanwyhere supports Forms, Emailing, AWS, MQ, FTP, SFTP, shares, Key Store, Certificates etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some modern/Client specific features are rolled out slowly. SOAP XML support is old & needs new features like namespace handling added.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
B2B communications, Webservices, File transfers, API calls, XML, JSON support, Project/Code maintenances is easy, UI is User friendly, Can be hosted on different platforms.
