I appreciate the efficient installation process of GoAnywhere MFT, which was quick and uncomplicated. The product facilitates seamless IP file transfer protocols, crucial for large files and important documents within our organization and with our customers. GoAnywhere MFT saves us a lot of time. Previously, we were using simple file sharing platforms, such as Google Suite. However, we were concerned about our file security and encryption, so we chose GoAnywhere MFT. GoAnywhere MFT is a great file-specific, file transfer-specific, and encryption-specific solution. It does its work really well. Other software can handle their work adequately, but the file sharing, file encryption, and file security and sharing are perfect in this solution.
What is most valuable?
The best features I appreciate most about the solution are the security and encryption they provide, which is really awesome. The main reason we use GoAnywhere MFT is the file security. I went through their security policies, and these are really great.
What needs improvement?
One area I want to see improvement is their licensing system. They are still using a key system, similar to Windows activation keys from Microsoft. They should improve that with better pricing plans.
Additionally, they can improve their UI. I really feel it is outdated, so improvement in UI would help.

I have been using this solution for around one month.
What do I think about the stability of the solution?
I would say GoAnywhere MFT is stable, though we had downtime for a few minutes due to our company glitches. The issue was not from GCP, so I would rate stability as a nine.

I would rate scalability with GoAnywhere MFT as really good, giving it a rating of ten out of ten.

We were previously using simple file sharing platforms, specifically Google Suite. We were concerned about our file security and encryption, which led us to choose GoAnywhere MFT.

We have a hybrid model. Currently, we are using GCP as our cloud provider. We are looking for transferring to some other platform, but for now, we are using GCP.
The deployment is really straightforward. It took within one to two days to get properly set up.
What was our ROI?
The return on investment includes saving time and increasing efficiency. It really increased our efficiency. It saves 20% to 30% of time compared to when we used to send files one by one to a collected Gmail.
What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?
It is around market value. It is neither too high nor too low, but balanced.
What other advice do I have?
In terms of connectors, we are currently using the Salesforce one. I also tried using Slack, but I encountered some issues with it. However, it worked out fine in the end. The integrations are good. I explored the various integrations available, and there are plenty of them. However, we use only a few of them.
I would definitely recommend GoAnywhere MFT to other users because what it provides is perfect. I have no problem with it.

GoAnywhere MFT is the best of all time secure managed file transfer and one thing I like most about it is how easy and straightforward it is to get started with. Monitoring and scheduling transfers is super easy and i like how it has saved us a lot of time and manual effort.

I really love the ease of use of GoAnywhere MFT. It is the best of all time file transfer system you'll find in the market. The scheduler is fantastic as we use it to send files across teams on a fixed schedule.

I use this solution to transfer a large amount of files from one folder to another. The agents can be monitored in one place, which is how I have been using this solution.
I use Secure Forms to collect information. The solution supports drag and drop which eases the file uploading process. They have made it easier for me to upload my data onto the GoAnywhere MFT solution.
How has it helped my organization?
GoAnywhere MFT has improved my organization in the way that I can easily deploy the agents in remote areas. I can control my agents in one remote area as well. If they are in different areas, I can control them in just one place. It also helps me to monitor the files and folders when we are connected on the server.
GoAnywhere MFT has helped me complete tasks quickly compared to other features I have used previously. It doesn't have slowdowns, which makes it the best suited solution for me to use.

The best features are the GoAnywhere MFT Agents, the Secure Folders, and the Secure Forms.

The user training should be straightforward from the date of implementation since it is somewhat complicated for new users. That is the only improvement that needs to be done.

Once it is set up, it is genuinely easy to use. Scheduling, automating and monitoring transfers is super smooth and it supports multiple protocols which makes integration quite simple. It has saved us a lot of manual effort to be honest.

I found the setup to be confusing at first. The UI felt a bit old school. Some features aren't very intuitive and the documentation could have explained things a little better. But once you're past that, it does it's job well.

GoAnywhere MFT appears to securely transfer large volumes of files across teams and systems without any manual work. Earlier, we used to rely on scripts and ad-hoc tools which were messy and very prone to errors. This software however centralizes everything, reduces the risk of failed transfers and saves us a lot of time with its automation and features concerning scheduling.

I can easily schedule the workflow to upload or download files without any manual steps also the audit feature is great which provide me complete view of from where and what has been upload.

The logs are detailed making it easy to track both sent and received files. The dashboard offers a decent overview of system activity and the process status.

The user interface feels outdated like something from the early dot com period. The initial workflow setup can take some time and some integration features feel slightly buggy. The core functionality is solid and it does the job well, so we can easily overlook the little drawbacks.

The biggest solve is the manual file transfers reduction. GoAnywhere replaced our previous FTP tools and manual steps with a fully automated system. The transfer processes are fully automated with encryption and role-based controls for our IT team.

What do you like best about the product?
I love how it automates repetitive tasks like sending reports to the onshores or uploading bulk data to our cloud storage. Its been an ally really. Also the auditing and reporting tools have been invaluable for compliance checks especially since we handle HIPAA regulated data. Its these little things that have made my work easier and less stressful. The dashboard is easy to use for monitoring and the detailed audit logs help with compliance audits. I have integrated it with Outlook and SQL and they run perfectly. It allows users to schedule file transfers at specific times adjustable to different time zones.
What do you dislike about the product?
The thing I like the least would be that it does not allow proper tableau integration which is a major downside for data analysts specifically.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a data analyst at a multinational auditing firm. I am constantly dealing with clients across the globe which makes managing time zone gaps a hassle. But Goanywhere Mft has been a lifesaver automating and scheduling secure data transfers to match everyone's crazy schedule. Which honestly saves me a bunch of time throughout the day. I love that i can set it to pull US audit logs at 2 am or send reports to Ireland at 9 it gets the job done. Overall this has been cut out so much grunt work and stress.
