Algolia Review - Searchandiser
What do you like best about the product?
I find Algolia simple and easy to use, I love that any rules implemented are integrated to the live site immediately and the analytics features make it easy to review how customers are responding.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't particularly dislike anything about Algolia, however the basic plan does have a lot of limitations so am looking forward to uprading to Premium to make use of the full suite of features.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Algolia is solving the problem of helping customers find products with ease on our site and also in displaying more relevant options to each user.

Algolia's search service has proven to be an essential component in our composable web architecture, effectively handling full website search use cases. Its flawless performance as an external SaaS service has been commendable, delivering exceptional speed and accuracy in search results.

What do you dislike about the product?
I spent few mins to think if there are any dislikes that I could write to improve but I am unable to find any.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Implementation of full website test is flawlessly working, we are still exploring the A/B testing features.
Fast Search regardless of number of records
What do you like best about the product?
Great support, documentation, resources for various programming languages, and a free account to test things out.
What do you dislike about the product?
Ability to place number of record limitation in the admin are not available.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Provides super fast search ability with extensive customization to the interface. The customization stretches all the way to building your own backend with Algolia serving the results.
Fast searches, relevancy and great for big indexes
What do you like best about the product?
The best thing is the speed and relevancy of searches, the ability to handle typos in the search and still provide relevant items.
What do you dislike about the product?
As a developer, you sometimes miss the flexibilty of being to query an SQL Database, but for most use cases Algolia is just faster than searching large indexes.
Can be pricy at scale, but also depends on the implementation, but the pros of having such fast searches balances this a lot.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It solves precise search still being fasts, with a big inventory of products, with a great UX since it can handle typos and look at facets besides just the name of an item.

Setting up keywords, filters was never that easy

UI demo interface can be improved with more features

We use algolia on our website because of its easy search and natural language processing capabilities. it is very efficient and fast in retrieving queries. easy implementation.

Very intuitive, easy interface, great analytics
What do you like best about the product?
Super easy to navigate especially for front end users. UI is very intuitive, and endless, indepth supporting documention available. Support desk are very responsive. Love the analytics and testing environments, makes it easy for us to simulate and test changes for fast implementaiton.

I would love to see more metrics available on A/B tests.

Improved search experience, helping how customers find what they are looking for faster. This is improving our click position, CTR & CVR
Search Analytics are nice
What do you like best about the product?
Easy adjustments for synonyms. Easy access to searches without results.
What do you dislike about the product?
Algolia is giving Amazon gift cards to gain reviews.
