What do you like best about the product?
Very fast, reliable, and easy to use.
We are using for several use cases.
We have implemented the real time search, awesome speed.
It is also good to index orders for the sales front end and dashboard.
In this case the ability to use multiple indexes per sort let the response very fast.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing at all. The only thing may be the price for people outside US. I live in Brazil and the exchange hates are 4-1.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Near real time search, sales dashboard
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Do the trial, implement the real time search. It is amazing

What do you like best about the product?
The developer documentation and the API are great: quickly to integrate and powerful. The search options in the dashboard are also easy to configure and adjust.The various integrations with frameworks are also great. We use Algolia in JavaScript (Node and Browser), in Swift for our mobile app and also with Jekyll for our static help website.
What do you dislike about the product?
Maybe the statistics, it would be helpful to have the info by country and keep them longer by default (at least some information like the 0-result searches). Right now we need to push them to another engine to keep them. Alternatively, an API to get the aggregated statistics would be helpful (especially to regularly get the 0-result searches and be able to push them to our team to improve the indexed data).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We switched our public search engine to Algolia to search sheet music on our website. It allows to quickly enhance the possibilities and offer more to our users, while reduce the development time for the update.
We also added algolia to our help center made with Jekyll, that's a great combo for a static site (no maintenance time yet powerful).
We aim to improve our integrations to push a better experience for our users in the future, and I believe we have chosen the good solution for our different products!

What do you like best about the product?
Speed, easy of use and wordpress plugin. The combination helps creating fast search engines in a breeze
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes we have had high invoices due to high indexing processes. Although that can be managed from our side.

Algolia is easy to set up with any language or major framework/tool. The speed is impressive even at a big scale.

What do you like best about the product?
I'm impressed with Algolia's search speed when entering product information. We have several thousand products and the search engine responds almost simultaneously as our customers type characters.
What do you dislike about the product?
The cost is a little high. The pricing tiers are nice but the thresholds are set too low. Currently, our website is for niche products. I could see it getting quite expensive on more popular websites.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our customers can find what they're looking for easily and quickly. I think a responsive website translates to a higher level of professionalism and ultimately trust in our products. Showing the product image and displaying the price also improves our customers experience. One of the intangible benefits from this is it reduces calls to our customer service.

Finally, it's helpful to know which products our customers search for the most. We pay close attention to what our users look for so that we can focus on those products specifically. In many cases where a customer didn't purchase our product after searching, we found that the image or text on the product was confusing or incomplete. We have had several instances where, after improving the product description or image, sales on their product increased.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
The better your product images and descriptions, the more valuable Algolia becomes. It is definitely an ongoing process for us. It is important to monitor the Algolia search results to in effect let your customers drive where improvements should occur.

What do you like best about the product?
User experience for online customers. For our clients, their customers' experiences are very important considerations when it comes to search functionality. Algolia presents visual search results which are both attractive and have clear potential for conversion to sales.
What do you dislike about the product?
Would like more features/flexibility. There have been some aspects to the application for e-commerce that still have room for improvement.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Attractive search presentation, speed of search and intelligent search/filter suggestions.

Easily the best search option on the market for e-commerce.

What do you like best about the product?
Ridiculously simple to import information into Algolia to then create rankings etc,. And the fact that everything that can be done over the API can be done via the interface, makes it super simple to hand of features etc to the Product Owners to manage and tweak without developer time.
What do you dislike about the product?
Documentation when needing to write customisations around the presented libraries is convoluted.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Internal search for users, primary product search and in-content search.

What do you like best about the product?
The way in which Algolia provides relevant alternatives if the customers preferred search is not available.

The way in which it is billed is hard to keep track of.

Our search engine on our website was poor. Algolia has much improved this search and helped make our website more consumer friendly.
