I an Adobe purist. Not any more
What do you like best about the product?
There is so much in this software that it can be daunting but the best part is, you can use as much or as little as you want.
I started just on the edit pages. Transitioning from Premiere pro, reluctantly. Once I got into it, I no longer use Adobe for motion graphics, film or animation. Davinci resolve is just too good.
I use the paid, studio version, which is a one off, affordable price. NO SUBSCRIPTION. It runs off of GPU.
There is free training, with assets. Manuals for download and a whole host of videos.
I have converted a few people and they haven't been sorry.
The pages are great. You can work in the timeline edit and switch to colour grading, audio, motion graphics and VFX and the delivery pages to render, without having to open a different app.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is just a great workflow and it saves so much money by not constantly paying subscription fees.
The ease if use allowed me to progress with VFX, motion tracking and other advanced techniques quicker.
It comes with a 3 user license, so not having to swap out seats.

What do you like best about the product?
Color correction is its flagship feature, its grading technology combined with an intuitive interface makes it easy to achieve cinematic finishes. No high-end hardware is required to achieve this level of sophistication. In addition, DaVinci Resolve's fast processing capability ensures that even with multiple resolutions on the same timeline, we can edit without delay and in different formats.
What do you dislike about the product?
Although DaVinci Resolve is a powerful tool and offers extensive customization, many of the commonly used functions have unintuitive shortcuts that take time to master at first.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The intuitive project timing sequence allows us to organize, view and edit large volumes of clips without hassle. The ability to switch between different resolutions directly in the timeline makes it easy to work with material from a variety of sources while maintaining visual consistency.

What do you like best about the product?
the ability to process multiple timelines, then render in bulk, and it also has a free version. It is very intuitive to use, I adapted quickly.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have no complaints so far, it's one of my favorite softwares.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I publish several videos daily, DaVinci gives me an option to edit multiple timelines in a single session, this is very productive for me, when I finish editing I just put it to render and DaVinci takes care of exporting each timeline separately.
Professional tool for video editing
What do you like best about the product?
- it has one of the best variants of editing tools, as a regular user of content creation and editing, this software works best for fine-tuning the work before uploading
- the colour correction and functional properties are definitely worth a try- they are so precise that it is hard to find praise in the outcome of it
- it is open to cross team collab which is great when working on the same project in a big organisation

What do you dislike about the product?
- honestly, it has a very very steep learning curve and is not beginner-friendly at all- wont recommend for a newbie
- you need to use it on a desktop as it does not work well with other devices due to the requirements of the software, I also advise using a desktop or laptop that is more recent software and is regularly updated or else one is bound to suffer glitches during use

Helps me and my team members work on video edits and content edits before uploading online, maximize efficiency and productive outcome
Adobe's Premiere Pro, After Effect, Audition Replacement
What do you like best about the product?
I adsolutely love the fact that this product has a free version and paid version. I so far got the free version and was suprised that 100% of editing that I do in Premiere Pro I'm able to do so on a free software. The autosave is beyond incredible. I love how the software actually uses my computer GPU instead of the CPU. Love the autosave feature. Davinci Resolve is my main editing tool!
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there were more template options for Davinci Resolve. For example in Evanto there are more video templates for after effect.

Nothing
A lot of editing power. Especially used in conjunction with a Black Magic switcher.

The ease and ability to correct problems made in liveswitching is golden.

No real downside to DaVinci Resolve.I use it as a first stop in editing.

DaVinci Resolve lets me correct any errors made in switching (used in conjunction with a Black Magic switcher), and allows me to quickly export a complied video in a number of formats and resolutions.
Powerfull and free

I use it to cut my audio lines and split them into seperate tracks. DaVinci has an intuitive UI and can get the job done on ease

Sometime the UI can be a little complex.

Cutting Audio many audio tracks can be challenging. DaVinci solves it.

A free tool with incredible capabilities
What do you like best about the product?
The program is free, which allows you to easily try and see if it suits your needs. The interface is clean and easy to use for novice users; the array of free effects is very wide, and everything else that's not there for free can be implemented with various workarounds. There is a lot of online documentation and guides available for free. The user has easy and complete control over pretty much every setting.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the premium content might be released for free users as well, as it covers some basic effects.
Some very useful functions are hidden behind keyboard shortcuts which are not really properly explained to the user, limiting their use.
