All the basics that you need
What do you like best about the product?
Ability to quickly edit the tutorials that I record. I can insert clips from other sources and place titles and other kinds of text. Editing is easy and quick. The quality is excellent.
What do you dislike about the product?
Installation is not straight forward. It took me quite some time to figure out which version to install and from where the start the program. I turned out that I needed to search the program under REsolve and not DaVinci.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows me to create and edit decent quality videos for the Revit tutorials I make in my office. Before, I used Windows Movie Maker, which was quite clunky and slow.

Good tool for video editing
What do you like best about the product?
Davinci Resolve is overloaded with so many great features which help you edit videos at an extreme level, and when it comes to manipulating the colours of a video, it gives very good outcomes.
What do you dislike about the product?
With Davinci Resolve, I have not found any issues, and I like pretty much everything in it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Davinci Resolve is a great tool, and it has allowed me to edit many videos for my clients at a very professional level. The quality of the renders was great, and the colours and the effects were amazing.
An incredibly potent CG tool, but not so good editor
What do you like best about the product?
DaVinci Resolve includes all the cutting, keyframing, color grading, and audio capabilities professionals need. It also provides a robust free version. I especially like the option to track, and color grading is fun using DaVinci.
What do you dislike about the product?
One of the greatest programs for color grading, but falls short in other video editing tool applications because to its high system resource requirements, complexity, and learning curve.

We utilize Davinci in our projects for editing, CC, and CG work—essential elements of any video.

What do you like best about the product?
A fantastic tool that allows you to color correct only particular segments of a video is called targeted grading.
What do you dislike about the product?
Hundreds of strong tools and functions make up this complicated software, which might be overwhelming for a newcomer. There is easier software available if you only need to perform basic editing, such as Filmora9 or VSDC.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use davinci for editing, CC and CG purposes in our videos which are essential components of any video.
DaVinci Resolve is better than Adobe cc
What do you like best about the product?
The best thing about DaVinci Resolve is that it has far superior performance, speed and rendering capabilities than any of its competitors, including Adobe. And the colour grading is also very excellent and effective.
What do you dislike about the product?
DaVinci Resolve sometimes gives technical issues, and it crashes. Other than that I have not found any issues using this software, and it is working great for me.

DaVinci Resolve is helping me edit videos for the customers, which we have to colour correct, colour grade and do basic editing in high quality, and this software is allowing me to do that easily.

I like that you can constantly learn something new everytime you use DaVinci Resolve
What do you dislike about the product?
It's really cumbersome with no training/walkthrough. I wish they had training videos, I have to go on youtube to find out how to do the simplest things

The quality of my videos are getting better than before I used the platform but there's still a lot that I don't know because I can't figure it all out
Best free tool for video editing
What do you like best about the product?
The best thing about Davinci Resolve is that we can use the tool for free, and using this software, we can colour grade the videos very easily and smoothly. Also, with this software, we can create and add special effects to our videos.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only downside of using DaVinci Resolve, I found, was that this tool has a lot of functions and features, which makes new users too overwhelmed to use this software.

DaVinci Resolve is helping me a lot in my video editing projects. This tool is helping me with colour correction and colour grading of my projects with other necessary basic video editing.
Davinci Resolve - Best tool for colour grading
What do you like best about the product?
The best thing I feel about Davinci Resolve is that it is a one-stop solution for all of the post-production needs for a video and it is a very Powerful software which is available for its user free of cost.
What do you dislike about the product?
Davinci Resolve needs a powerful system to run. Otherwise, it will crash your system. Also, it requires a lot of experience to getting used to it, and it can not be used by newcomers.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Davinci Resolve has helped me a lot in editing and colour grading the videos for my clients and for my personal portfolio. Whenever I need to edit some videos, I find Davinci to be the most reliable software.
Very great video editing software
What do you like best about the product?
DaVinci Resolve is truly a great software which has excellent software and outstanding performance and speed. It is very good for colour grading the videos and editing them.
What do you dislike about the product?
DaVinci Resolve is a great application, but it takes too long to render videos which is very frustrating. Also, DaVinci Resolve consumes a lot of RAM which decreases the overall performance of the computer.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
DaVinci Resolve is helping me colour grade and editing a lot of videos which helps me in creating the creative videos for the promotion of my business.

- It's speed and performance in comparison to the competition
- Multiple application windows in the one application. Bouncing between areas is seamless
- The colour correction and grading. Nuff said
- The pricing. Production software like this IMO is a tool and not a service. I can't stand that if you stop paying for Adobe's CC, you get locked out from using the old tools that you've spent thousands on rather than just not being able to download future updates. Resolve's buy once and own for life is perfect, especially since you can also download almost the full program to use for free anyway

What do you dislike about the product?
I don't really have any complaints, other than sometimes I have technical issues and rendering is sometimes impossible without corrupted artefacts. I'm running a fairly old graphics card (980ti), and it can be really frustrating when certain updates and fixes are relegated only to the new card architecture.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Resolve has just sped up my workflow and has also provided tools (the colour tab) to make my content look even better. I now only user Adobe for AE, but once Fusion is fleshed out a bit more, I can see myself spending the time to learn it and make the switch.
