Superior Process Mining Tool with exception customer support
What do you like best about the product?
Celonis has allowed us to unlock our SAP OTC data in order to perform process mining, data analysis and tending we otherwise would not have visibility to. This has provided us with insights into how our process actually functions and has uncovered area of opportunity we may not have found without Celonis. Our Celonis users love how user friendly the tool is. Celonis has been a true partner by providing exceptional customer support and enablement of analysts and users.
What do you dislike about the product?
To go beyond the out of the box solution you need to have knowledge of PQL. This allows the tool to be incredibly flexible, but is useful to know before you embark on your journey. We have found success by pairing a data savvy business user and an IT PQL expert. Data validation is critical. Take your time to ensure the data is coming into the tool as you expected.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using Celonis to send alerts for issues that occur infrequently. Instead of needing to actively check SAP, we can wait for the alert to let us know when action is required. Celonis is helping with tactical issues such as determining what sales orders require manual intervention as well as identifying strategic process improvement initiatives.
The tool to discover flaws of our own process
What do you like best about the product?
Celonis is very user friendly tool that enables the user to analyse the process and discover a lot of imperceptible flaws which would be hard to detect other way.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some minor improvements that can be worked on like the "back button" during the development on new dashboards but overall I like pretty much everything.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are analyzing the inefficiencies we already knew that could occur during the process and discovering new ones and ensure we can eliminate or speed up some steps of the process in order to save money and time to the company.

What do you like best about the product?
Celonis provides excellent data management. This data mining tool has lots of options and flexibility for customization. The system is well organized and easy to use; we are constantly growing our footprint of the usage every day. It is an enterprising tool that is rapidly developing each day, to fit the evolving analytics insight industry. The people who work at Celonis are of a high caliber and have expressed a comprehensive understanding of our business goals and objectives while also providing exceptional customer support. Celonis enables deep dives into dating mining without overwhelming its users.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would love more printable materials, instead of videos.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Well packaged product with Process Analytics and power of Action Engine
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of integrating with on-prem and cloud applications for data extraction. Process Analytics provides user friendly dashboards and greater insights into the business processes. What's even more useful is the ability to utilize the KPI's built in Process Analytics and utilize them in the Action Engine to drive the process improvement over the time.
What do you dislike about the product?
The way groups and user permissions are structured is definitely very robust and flexible but at times could be confusing to understand. I think a centralized user permissions console would be helpful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are currently using the tool for process mining and automation activities in the PTP business processes (data from Ariba and SAP-ERP systems) which has provided business the ability to look into some of the important KPI's, identifying deviations from the standard process/policies and taking necessary actions using the action engine.

Technical - Easy to learn, Well known SQL oriented design, drag and drop feature.

Realtime extraction is missing but Celonis team is continuously improving.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Problem solving - 1. Extracting data and building SQL queries in backend to transform SAP data into Celonis dashboard.
2. Designing dashboards, mapping SAP tables, fields and working on custom graphs and formula.
Benefit realized - 1. Layout design is easy as its just drag and drop.

Exceeding Customer Expectations with Automation
What do you like best about the product?
The implementation of our solution has been very successful. The initial engagement created typical challenges with the scope and expectations but once those issues were resolved, we all operated as one team. The team not only has excellent knowledge of the platform but understood and learned our processes within a short period. Within six months, we have automated about half of the steps of the initial scope. We are now moving into expanding the automation and using the analytics portion the platform to identify more business value opportunities.
What do you dislike about the product?
Our automation is very time sensitive since the data needs to be refreshed every two minutes. We have some technical issues during the initial release.
To continue to drive efficient value we need to continue in full engagement. It has been challenging to bring our internal team members up to speed on the capabilities of the platform.

Improve the efficiency on how we provide our two hour delivery service.

Incredible Teams, Outstanding Service, Unparalleled Tools
What do you like best about the product?
I love the "from space" view it gives our business users. We have insights and visualization of data processes we have never seen before. Additionally, the team is incredibly responsive and helpful. They know their tool well and they worked incredibly well with our teams requirements regarding data.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do wish the training interface was a little simpler. I realize there is a lot of info there, but it can be overwhelming and takes a bit of bandwidth. Otherwise, I dont have anything else to criticize!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are solving financial issues resulting from up-stream, hard to track, propagating data issues. We can now trace those issues to specific cases and drill down into TRUE root causes, rather then potential root causes.
A right progressive tool
What do you like best about the product?
The layered deep-dive approach to each process is impressive and catering to all kind of user group.
What do you dislike about the product?
The flexibility to change should improve. PQL isn't as popular.
