It's a struggle to get started but once you understand the software the benefits are exponential.

What do you like best about the product?
The API. I use it for almost everything.
What do you dislike about the product?
The deprecated .Net framework. This feels like a major security concern that should be addressed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Claims, Underwriting, HR, Compliance, Marketing

Nothing yet so far, we are brand new to using them

What do you like best about the product?
I found most helpful is the tools OnBase provides to automate processes with our org. It allows us to make process improvements all over our org by leveraging the native tools within our On base platform
What do you dislike about the product?
The cost of doing some of these process improvements has gotten too high in my opinion.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use it to audit our new account and loans. We also use it to audit those new accounts for missing documents. We utilize workflow heavily to digitize processes.

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to custom create workflows for each of your departments.
What do you dislike about the product?
In Document Tracking would like to be able to remove Assigned Users that leave the company and assign a new user to take over that folder.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ability to view documents from any location for audits and compliance reviews.

What do you like best about the product?
On premise scalability and intuitive use.
What do you dislike about the product?
Hyland Cloud is too rigid, inflexible and support is an extreme challenge.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are a reseller and solve many client challenges leveraging OnBase.

What do you like best about the product?
OnBase is a incredible tool for fixing the gaps in everyday processes. Automating process, either paper or electronic bases, and building efficiencies through the tying of LOB application to core enterprise system and fixing the gaps in between
What do you dislike about the product?
Grew quickly over the years. It would be nice if there was some focus to go back to the core product and smooth out some of the rough edges.

On base Workflows Streamline Processes

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to streamline processes from ingesting emails, to auto indexing documents, and then passing necessary documents into a workflow for users to act on. We are also able to have actions send notifications and emails to other departments to reduce the amount of time users have to switch between systems.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be nice if OCR could capture data without storing it as a keyword on the document. It would be nice if it could just write the data to a database table linked by the docid so that we could reference the values when needed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
OnBase has helped to create a business process that users find easy to use, making it easier for other departments to step in to assist when volume is high.
