Onbase Review
What do you like best about the product?
It is flexible, comprehensive in its functionalities and has support in our native language. It also have a lengthy Hyland University curriculum.
What do you dislike about the product?
That it is complex for a beginner programmer hence the learning curve is steep.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is helping us take the Bank to the next level on ur digitalization vision.
OnBase has greatly improved our AP process!
What do you like best about the product?
We use OnBase for AP and it has greatly improved our processes. We have eliminated the need for paper invoices and storage. It allows us process invoices much faster as it goes through approvals quickly and doesn't need to be passed around for approvals. It also provides reporting tools and allows us to research invoices easily.
What do you dislike about the product?
We use the Line of Business Broker which occassionally has some connection issues. I the LOBB is down, we can't use OnBase at all since there is no connection. A recommended improvement would be for it to cache the GL coding so that it can be used if the connection is down.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are now paperless with AP which is saving on storage space and offsite storage. It also allows for approvals while individuals are traveling and we no longer have to wait until they return to physically approve the invoice. We can process invoices much faster this way.
Very useful multi faceted ECM
What do you like best about the product?
Developing and using the OnBase Workflow and Workview applications are easy to understand and work with. Giving the opportunity to find many solutions within the system.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the rules based process of OnBase workflow doesn't allow a good process for when someone makes a mistake. Because it goes step by step, anything that throws that off seems to affect an item either immediately or further down the line.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
OnBase has done a great job of eliminating the massive amounts of paper that we used to use. In fact the space once used for file cabinets is not replaced with 25 employees.

Too many features and integratoin a bit complex.

It is replacing the Nautilus application.

What do you like best about the product?
I like how flexible Workview is and how it literally can handle the class and view load that our bank uses it for.
What do you dislike about the product?
We dislike the inability to create a software enhancement request. We "understand" the whole voting thing but sometimes we have literal business critical problems with the software that are communicated through Deluxe to Hyland and into a forever black hole.

We have a write once read many environment that is benefitting the global treasury management sales of products and services to the bank. We use Workview to create a custom application that is the vehicle for all of the GTM applications. Its ability to be custom and granular helps shape our solution that has to be easily modified per the industry and its continual shifts. That flexability is unparralled.
