One of the best tools for analyzing and tracking vulnerabilities
What do you like best about the product?
The best thing is the API and its many features.
What do you dislike about the product?
1- Lack of technical information on how the scans work.
2- Item solutions may be outdated with the current solution.
3- When the setting to not show superseded vulnerabilities is enabled, we have no way of searching for this vulnerability using CVEs.
4- There is no native integration with AWS and Azure.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use the tool to reduce environmental risks by fixing vulnerabilities, monitoring the installations of some cyber tools, and collecting audit evidence. Every month we generate a KPI based on the numbers of Tenable vulnerabilities.

It is a product that our customers already know and trust.

The product had many steps for installation is it required many configurations.

It provides the vulnerability functionalities our clients need.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If not absolutely needed, consider using tenable web client and not the sc. Consider hiring an expert on the product for the reports and onboarding process.
Best tool for Quickly identify and investigate your most important assets
What do you like best about the product?
Tenablc is the best tool to analyse and reviews complicated data with graphical representation.
What do you dislike about the product?
As such, there is no issue identified from my end.

Our company suffer regarding company technical and non-technical data's completion this tool helps us a lot to reduce the manpower's extra work and ease every workflow to identify critical things.

El flujo de tickets, es muy simple y no me permite gestionar el seguimiento de una forma integral

El tener la visibilidad de distintas formas para trabajar la remediación de vulnerabilidades, por cantidad, clasfificación, por nivel de riesgo.

Tenable is updated daily with the latest information out there and also is plugged into all of the best databases out there.
What do you dislike about the product?
Doesn't always integrate with some legacy software, but that just makes us upgrade and be more secure.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Enterprise vulnerability management programs are very important to any business. Compliance reporting, integrations, and overall security issues that are found are mitigated faster due to Tenable.
Great product for vulnerability management
What do you like best about the product?
Tenable SC let's you control your data any way you want, which I feel is rare in many Vulnerability Management products today. You can customize who is seeing certain assets and build metrics around those specific assets for them.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is difficult to do trending in the tool. It has a lot of valuable reporting, but trending over time is lacking.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We can view our vulnerabilities in one source of truth, and all collaborate in the same tool. We can build custom charts to meet the needs of our environment.
Tenable.sc is the best vulnerability management system on the planet. Hands Down!

Intuitive dashboards and reporting. Cloud and on-prem scanning. Ability to drill down into vulnerabilities.

Not much to dislike. The interface seems a little dated, but it is solid.

We have been able to get a handle on vulnerabilities that exist within our organization, not only at the server level but down to the individual workstation.

Sometimes is complicated to install if you don't know well your network

The Best Vulnerability Management tool for on premises
What do you like best about the product?
Tenable.sc is the best VM tool for those customers who are not cloud-friendly and want an on-premises solution. It scans the complete infra and gives the loopholes so that you can patch it.
What do you dislike about the product?
I won't say its a dislike, but for Tenable.sc, the minimum license requirement is 512, which i think flexible to support SMB Customers
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With Tenable.sc we run the scan in our Infra and scan to find the vulnerabilities and patch it. It helps us to secure our Infra and follow the regulatory compliance guidelines. It supports both active and passive scanning.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Tenable.sc is the best tool to run the security analysis in Infra to get the Vulnerability details so that it can be patched on time before attackers know it. It has predefined template to get the reports on regulatory compliance guidelines.
