Experinance with Cloudkeeper
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to get discounted pricing without having to commit to a long term contract with aws is really nice.
Their aws review, gave us good insigths into places where we can imporve, eg. using different instances, downgrading some instances due to underutilization etc..
They have notified us once when a instance type which we generally don't use was running for couple of day (it was actually being used for a POC, but it is nice of them to notice and bring attention to it ).

What do you dislike about the product?
So far, nothing. It has been chugging along in the nicely in the backgroud.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
1. Mainly it is combating cost and having transperancy on how much and where we are spending. ( since we have multiple aws accounts for different environments, it is tedious to track )

Decent Product, Great Service and Customer Satisfaction
What do you like best about the product?
The experience has been great, onboarding was very smooth. The architecture review was very comperhensive and helped us identify cost saving opportunities and enhancing security posture. The Customer support is great and very responsive. They are available via calls, emails, and chats (almost all possible channels) and work with us with full transparency. The Cost management portal is decent and offers almost all features in AWS cost explorer. The best part is it comes with ZERO cost and a great add on to your cloud stack.
What do you dislike about the product?
Overall the Cloudkeeper tool is decent and does what it needs to do but can be improved on visualisations and customisations. For instance, The option to create custom reports and send them frequently via emails would great.

What do you like best about the product?
Cloudkeeper Lens gives excellent visibility on cost usage.
CloudKeeper Support always just a mail away for any issue/concerns related to AWS regardless of billing or Technical.
Their Resource recommendation helped us to reduce our cloud cost by thousands.

What do you dislike about the product?
Alerting in CloudKeeper Lens WebUI still need some work to be done.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
CloudKeeper works for us as it's givng us 360Degree view of our Cloud Spend. Like the recommendation, which help us with possible saving. In startup this small cost of AWS services need to be monitor to avoid Cloud sprawl.

1- There can be improvement in filters by tagging resources.

Nothing major but it'll be very helpful if they introduce tage based filters for EC2 in CloudKeeper lens tool.

Our experience with CloudKeeper has been great.

So far what we like most about CloudKeeper is optimization recommendations, reservation tracking, and the cost explorer.
What do you dislike about the product?
While this is not a CloudKeeper issue, we recognize there is a challenge with somewhat of a tug-of-war between reserved instances and optimizations. I can be that you obtain reserved instances only to find out later that usage has changed and there are optimization opportunties that you can't take advantage of because you're locked into a reserved instance. Perhaps savings plans help balance those challenges out.

CloudKeeper is helping with cloud cost management by bringing to light waste, workload optimization opportunities, reservation management, and a general consolidated view of all of our AWS accounts at once or individually.
