Toucan Toco was the solution I recommended for my colleague's startup company
What do you like best about the product?
Visualizations can be embedded on your own platform at much lower cost than alternative solutions. Total cost to implement was much lower than others. Quick to learn the basics of creating most-needed Visualizations. (Compared to my experience with Tableau and PowerBI) Great human support & lots of training available online.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a learning curve to getting the most out of it--Toucan viz's are designed to be clear and readable and there are some associated constraints. However, there was usually a solution that worked well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We've created a number of visualizations and stories that illustrate and drill down into specific social issues for consumption by public and not-for-profit organizations and the general public. We were able to utilize large data sets without incurring high costs--a big win for us.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Be super-clear about what you need in your data output & visualizations. Toucan starts with the end in mind, and you'll need to as well. Look hard at the hidden costs of other solutions. Toucan's pricing is very clear and clean.

What do you like best about the product?
The team that helps you set up Toucans reports process is incredible and was helpful any time we got stuck or needed help.
What do you dislike about the product?
At first, the process for setting up reports was quite code-heavy in some ways. Not easy to set up for the average bear. But as time went by, they made improvements to the product, and it sharpened things up and helped us be more independent with the reports! I am proud to say that they do accommodate the needs of the people quite well!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
A few of the problems we've been solving with toucan is the use case for every single report we create. The biggest issue with reports is that you don't really know how the consumer will use them, so it's a bit of a waiting game for feedback. As far as actual issues go with making reports, we always have the toucan team there for us if we need anything solved, so nothing stays problematic for long!

What do you like best about the product?
Toucan Toco has been wonderful to work with. With their help, we had our visualization completed and ready to publish to our customers within a week. Any questions we had, we could reach out to our dedicated support team, and they would have an answer or a solution to our problem that day. I have never worked with a company that has such fantastic customer service. They are a perfect example of what every business should strive for in working with their clients.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing that I have found that I dislike about Toucan Toco. They have exceeded our expectations and gone above and beyond to meet our needs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We chose Toucan Toco to help us meet our needs of creating customized and professional visualizations for the data we manage for our client. These charts and visualizations have allowed us to discontinue printed data sheets and helps our customers see what is happening with the equipment more quickly and easily than before.
THE platform for Elected Government Officials to manage their political strategy
What do you like best about the product?
Toucan is a ground breaking platform for elected officials. They're finally able to have a central access to the main KPIs required to manage their entire political strategy, thanks to Toucan's deep integration to all kinds of public sector software, and its ease of use by non technical users. Toucan's allowing them to understand their territory with more clarity than ever before, whether it's related to internal performance (HR, finance...) or external projects (education, childhood, budgets, culture, infrastructure).
What do you dislike about the product?
Would have liked to see more options on the design front .

Go-to tool for Top Execs & Mid-Level Mgt. From 1 week to just hours to deploy.
What do you like best about the product?
Toucan is the Go-To tool for our most senior VPs and mid-level Management in several countries. We went from a week's worth of work creating PPT and BI Dashboards to just a couple of hours on Toucan, which has led to significantly better production times and quality of decisions. Toucan has become indispensable to the decision making processes of our executives.

What do you like best about the product?
I'm in charge of serving our Directors around the world with key insights. Prior to Toucan, they would simply abandon the idea of looking for information due to the complexity of finding, then trying to understand the numbers. With Toucan, accessibility for an audience of high-level decision makers has never been easier, and deploying clear reports has never been faster for me and my team.

Would love to see an update of the notification system, for more diversity in the alerts.

Prior to Toucan, we had no access to information. We needed to contact the HR department for them to set these up for us, and it would take several days before we saw them, which would often be too late given how fast we need to make decisions.

I like Toucan's consistent high quality in the deliverables produced. Had we gone with building our own reporting brick, getting to the same level would have taken us months rather than weeks. By working with Toucan we've been able to enhance the quality of the service we provide to our customers.

Perfect data storytelling product to leverage our cloud infrastructure
What do you like best about the product?
Toucan's helped us turn our excel and PPT into dynamic dashboards made for business users, without the need to train them.
As a BI Practitioner, this has helped me save immense time and energy trying to design dashboards and coach users, and focus on more critical tasks.
