Perfect tool for centralizing then modeling data
What do you like best about the product?
ApptioOne allows us to get away from spreadsheets and to automate the chargeback model for reporting. It provides the ability to bring crucial metrics to the entire organization.
What do you dislike about the product?
It does not play well with other tools. When stakeholders want to ingest only raw data for their own Power BI Dashboards, it is not an easy solution. Secondly, I would like the tool to be able to handle much larger row counts to accomodate very large corporations like mine.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
ApptioOne allows us to streamline reporting of engineering financials on a monthly cadence so they can make data-driven decisions from a strategic perspective. My role on the Cost Transparency Transformation team is to work with Engineering stakeholders to help them understand their charges, to better explain them to the Business, and to optimize their engineering spend. ApptioOne is critical to this process as it has become the golden source for engineering financials across the firm.

Great intuitive system - your are under control of Financials.
What do you like best about the product?
CT reports, in ITP easy to compare plans.
What do you dislike about the product?
Apptio require very strong person to navigate data behind CT and ITP.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Collection of variance reporting, easy to collect plans, compare them. Manage dashboard reporting for CIO.

What do you like best about the product?
Dashboard financials with multiple standard views/reports. Many ways to filter, drill etc. on your dashboard.
What do you dislike about the product?
Naming conventions of tiles "Cost transparencty" isn't overly intuitive. "Dashboard reporting" would be for example. Similar with other tiles.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Quick financials review, visually vs. excel, comparison to budget and forecasting, and a tool for entering budgets/forecasts, by the business owners or admins or both.
Versatile Tool to meet varying demands and requirements
What do you like best about the product?
I like the the ease of use to integrate and configure large amounts of data. The reporting is streamlined. Allows multiple users to work simultaneously without issue.
What do you dislike about the product?
Performance issues can pop up when too many configuration changes are occuring. Sometimes, performance issues are understandable; other times, completely random

Chargeback. We are able to bring rationalization to our end user products and services; driving efficency and savings.

The flexibility, range of solutions posible and ease of creating reports.

Difficulty of view logic as a program and lack of support for comments

End user chargeback, cloud services chargeback, end-user and non-end user chargeback rate setting, and application cost of ownership.
Apptio One - Cost Transparency
What do you like best about the product?
The organized layout of Cost Transparency has been very helpful for our company in building out our instance within TBM Studio.
What do you dislike about the product?
The main downside of ApptioOne is that it can load slowly a vast majority of the time when navigating between webpages/tables/reports/etc.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
ApptioOne is allowing us to build out the Technology chargeback process in a more granular manner than we have before.
Good tool, can be used for reporting and improve IT and BU cost transparency
What do you like best about the product?
customizeable groupings of attributes into different views as each user (IT, BU, Finance) have varying uses of the tool and how it fits into monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting.
What do you dislike about the product?
Reference data of IT Planning could be more automated, assistance in IT Planning to Cost Transparency synergy could be improved, contracts tab could align to BPOs and contractual increases better.
