An excellent product for code review, most liked feature is customised rules for different language.

Report generation is not allowed in pdf of XML format. It helps more if a limited version of report generation was available.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Code review has become so much faster, developers are available to analyse the code much faster after the implementation of the soanr qube.

It's effortless to configure and set up. Easy to integrate with the workflows. Detailed checking makes life easy. UI is very user-friendly and also. It's very far from its competitors in terms of service.
What do you dislike about the product?
The setup process could take a lot of time. Sometimes check rules could be stringent, like 'too many parameters in the constructor.

Increase productivity - Reduces the scale, cost of maintenance, and risk of the application; as such, it removes the need to spend more time changing the code.

Plugins are not shared, it means if you install/uninstall/upgrade a given plugin in one application node, you need to do the same actions on the other application node

If you want to apply the same resolution to a big number of issues, you can use the Bulk Change feature . In your particular case, you could also define issue exclusion rules to prevent these issues from being raised on selected parts of the code

The SonarQube service would be up and running on that system immediately if you used an EC2 instance from this AMI.

Sonar Qube rules helps improve the quality of our production code as developers are prompted when they use github libraries that are non complaint and the DevOps pipeline doesn't allow help to deploy the changes.
Multiple new features are updated regularly which helps to improve the code coverage.

What do you dislike about the product?
SonarCloud offering doesn't have to be deployed and is more of a plug and play which helps saves us integration effort which is required in SonarQube. If newer versions support that it would be great
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sonar Qube is deployed as a Quality gate in our DevOps pipeline which also includes gitlab as scm and Jenkins as build tool and also spinnaker. To set complaince and security some libraries are denied and also code we try to increase oir code coverage
