Sophos MTR has been an asset to our company's network monitoring and threat response

What do you like best about the product?
Having an extra set of eyes monitoring our endpoints
What do you dislike about the product?
The MTR console needs a UI upgrade that can better integrate alerts and incident response into a single pane of glass rather than having to look in multiple places.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Like many, we are not staffed 7 by 24. MTR let's us get some rest knowing someone is watching and ready to respond.

What do you like best about the product?
1. The application is light on resources
2. Updates are not heavy, the resources are not burdened when updating
3. Protection is swift, provides threat intelligence timely

1.There is work to be done on zero day threats, awesome threat solution, research intensity required

Intrusion detection, intrusion prevention, web and application filtering, threat intelligence, maicious traffic detection, spyware detection and removal plus blocking viruses and removal

What do you like best about the product?
What we like best about this product is that it just works and is very easy to use. Once the product is installed, it does its job of protecting our end users and devices.
What do you dislike about the product?
What is least helpful is that there are not many customizable reports that we can create or change that would help us on a daily basis of drilling a little more into our systems.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sophos Managed Threat Response is solving our end device's real-time protection. It is benefiting us by keeping our PCs and servers protected from ransomware and attacks.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would recommend doing all of your due diligence when searching for an MDR solution, but I would highly recommend considering Sophos for an MDR solution. They have been a great partner and have done an outstanding job of protecting us.

Outsourcing to Sophos MTR protects saved us costs and strengthed our cybersecurity. We can now focus on our business
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Watch out for hidden costs. Some providers either don't offer incident response services or charge extra for them - such as buying a quota of hours that expire annually.

Easy to deploy and effective

What do you like best about the product?
Changing software packages is usually a challenge. Sophos provided excellent support as well as timely feedback. This made the transition to their product very simple.
What do you dislike about the product?
Compute resources can be overwhelmed when there Sophos is scanning or downloading updates.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Previously, we had two software packages. One for AV and the other for malware protection. We were able to eliminate both and replace with Sophos. Not only is that easier to manage, but it also reduces spend.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Changing software packages can be challenging. Sophos made it easy for us. Their support is excellent as is the effectiveness of the product.

Very Proactive, Cost Effective Advance threat Monitoring Solution

What do you like best about the product?
Their Constant reporting on the newly discovered threats and the CVE. Instant notifications, easy to use dashboard, weekly and monthly reporting. Comparing to other competitiors, Sophos is at par or ahead of the game.
What do you dislike about the product?
I am unable to customize the report. Sophos doesnt have the provision to white-label the report which is a drawback when it comes to reporting. I also would like to have an app where I can see my dashboard
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sophos MTR is helping me achieve the status of having a SOC without heavy investment. With this, i am always getting notified of threats and the resolution of the same

What do you like best about the product?
Proactive defence approch of Sophos MTR team helped us to isolate the infection what we have preiovsuly.
Also I would appreiciate thier elite expertiese who got onboarded
Not to forget Sophos high fedility detection as well
What do you dislike about the product?
Pricing is one factor sophos need to re think.
Local language like Arbic should be included
also it would be apprieciated if Sophos allow the end users to revirew the dash board atlease read only access
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were abou to format the Server which got attcked then after involving sophos team we relased the root casue is not the server but from the network PC itself. Sophos MTR team really helped us to find and isolate the root casue
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Highly recommended service from sophos. No matter you have holidays or weekends sophos team will be pro activly protecting you from threats.

1- Proactive team to interact with high risk
2- Dashboard to see the total number of risk in each machine categorized per severity
3- Recurring follow up form MTR team to show you how you can use the service better
What do you dislike about the product?
Low risk will be appearing as count but it does not have a clear view to see them
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having several critical machine required a dedicated team to look at its security concern
MTR solve the human capital required to be dedicated for detecting risk, in the same time their proactive team is really supportive in solving high risk concerns

What do you like best about the product?
Sophos offers us a central management console for all of its products, this makes day to day management and reporting significantly easier than many of its competitors as it covers both hardware stack and software
What do you dislike about the product?
When safe listing URLS / Submitting them to Sophos labs, wild cards would be a nice addition
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We used to need separate products for our Endpoints & Servers and firewalls, this made reporting a nightmare and renewals a confusing mess. Sophos has allowed us to centralize all of this
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Setup a Demo Call, and don't be afraid of getting some professional services.. Bang for the buck it will save you time

What do you like best about the product?
I don't have to worry as much about day to day issues with Viruses and threats.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the explanations of an issue and what to do can be a little too technical and would need to be explained more thorough.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Saves me a lot of time, and gives me time to worry about other issues.
