Seems like this just times out when trying to connect. Not sure if anyone else is experiencing this with this image?

Make sure that your security group has an Inbound rule that lets you in from your current IP address. For example, if you are connecting through SSH, check the IP addresses associated with the SSH rules. Also, when you picked a VPC and then an associated Subnet, that Subnet is associated with an ACL. Check the Inbound rules for the ACL. For example, if you are trying to come in through SSH, check if that associated ACL has an Inbound rule that allows SSH traffic. I have had situations that timed out trying to connect with a new instance and it turned out that choosing a different VPC led to choosing a different Subnet, which was using a different ACL that didn't have Inbound SSH access.
