Gatekeeper has cornered the market for contact-management-made-simple

What do you like best about the product?
The sales process and onboarding was tailored entirely to our needs: light touch when needed but hands-on support when we required it. We never had to chase for support within the sales process but neither did it feel pushy.
What do you dislike about the product?
Very little... This Saas product does require thought and set-up logic to make the best use of the tool for your company, but there is flexibility to enable you to learn as you go.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Multiple contact and SOW variables with a variety of terms and clauses that the other parts of the business needed to access, but many contracts that needed to be held securely. We had a very paper-based and email held manual solution that was causing errors and missing opportunities for claims and re-negotiations

What do you like best about the product?
The breadth of what the system can do. It has huge capability, and is very user friendly and presents well. Plus, the frequent updates and releases made which often solves a lot of our problems and addresses our wish-lists.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some parts can be non-configurable, requiring more complex workarounds. The lack of ability to automate filtered reports.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
1. Being contract repository, 2. Notifications on key dates, 3. Assisting with contract management/lifecycle
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's a great system, with many features and was the only system that met all of our needs. However, it needs adequate internal resourcing to continually develop the system - it's not quite 'set and forget'.

What do you like best about the product?
- Convenient notification system
- Easy loading of contracts
- The ability to customize Gatekeeper in accordance with the needs of the company
What do you dislike about the product?
-- The inability to change the name of the uploaded file directly in the system
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gatekeeper facilitates prosses of reviewing and signing contracts. And it also helps a lot to organize the process of storing contracts.

What do you like best about the product?
Ease of uploading and inputting contracts and files associated with contracts, email links to all contracts for loading or sending in messages to contract files. Dashbaord is excellent with status of all contracts for executives and for self.
What do you dislike about the product?
Workflows can be a little difficult to setup , however, expiring a contract is not so straightforward in the instructions.
there should be a clear way or a button tickbox to indicate contract ended and on what date.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
esign is great feature we have started to use, also provided us a central place for the entire company to manage all contracts and status as oppose to files in varying servers and folders.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
Please ensure you have a business team that is fully on board to support and adopt the benefits of the platform , it needs all regions and contract owners to participate for its success. it has esign, contract management and lifecycle workflows as well can be built.

excellent option to manage the information of my suppliers

What do you like best about the product?
It is very easy and intuitive to use, which allows me to make a much more fluid use of the system without having to worry about any errors or problems with the program, it also represents an excellent option to manage my information. suppliers, since it has a much more complete and robust interface than Excel, in fact I already export the data automatically in graphs which allows me to appreciate the percentage of net purchases made from a supplier, their customer service results be quite friendly when solving a problem or clarifying any doubt
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be quite complete if it had the option to allow digital signatures to support the information sent, so they should integrate with applications of that type.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It has allowed me to have a better control regarding the information provided by my suppliers, in general it has helped me to have a better inventory management when they dispatch the merchandise to know more or less how long I should return to request another order to restock.

What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about Gatekeeper is that it is extremely easy to use and highly customizable.
What do you dislike about the product?
What I like least about Gatekeeper is the way the Parent - Child relationship is setup. I would prefer to have a Master Record at the Supplier level and all related agreements (SOW, Amendments, Pricing Schedules, etc.) would be a part of that Master Record and have the option of not treating them as separate contracts.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With Gatekeeper we have been able to gain visibility of all contracts as well as staying on top of renewals. There is a lot of functionality we haven't been leveraging (e.g. storing contract templates, eNegotiate, eSignature, approval routing, etc.) however, we are currently in the process of implementing some of these great features.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
One piece of advice I would offer is that it is important to have clear business rules in the form of an SOP (Standard Operating Procedure) prior to going live. For example, the SOP should state clear and concise naming conventions of contracts. It is important to have consistency for reporting purposes. Also, since Gatekeeper charges by Active contracts, it is important to evaluate all Active contracts and consider which contracts should be listed as Archived. Gatekeeper doesn't charge for Archived contracts.

Unique Approach to Contract Management and e-Negotiation

What do you like best about the product?
We looked at about a dozen contract management solutions, and Gatekeepers' approach to intake and e-negotiation is truly unique. The Employee Portal made it easy for our national field offices to submit contracts for review, and the Kanban Workflows helps management stay on top of approvals and provide transparency into the negotiation and approval process.
What do you dislike about the product?
Workflows can be challenging to set up if your objectives are not clearly defined in advance. This is less of a dislike and more like some friendly advice.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We previously used a "contracts" email inbox with poor results. Gatekeeper provided order to the chaos and the Employee Portal allows anyone in the org to submit a contract without setting up a user profile and accessing the full management dashboard. Submitters can see their contract's card progress, eliminating follow-up email on status.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Gatekeeper pricing is mid-range but the features are high end.

What do you like best about the product?
The way the system can automate so many elements of the contract management process (i.e. reminders in various workflows, e-sign functionality) which has had a hugely positive impact on how much time my team have to use to manually chase.
What do you dislike about the product?
I can't say that I particularly dislike anything - there are items we are working on with the Gatekeeper team to continuously improve the user experience, however Gatekeeper always seems to have the flexibility to achieve what we need in some capacity or other.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As above, the automation element has had a real impact on my team and means they spend much less time manually chasing suppliers, allowing them more time for business tasks where they can add real value.

What do you like best about the product?
Continual improvement is very impressive. Always looking to improve the system from feedback from Clients. Flexible, agile and responsive
What do you dislike about the product?
Lots of the system generated emails fall into spam / junk
To start with, the system is not that intuitive to use. However, practice definitely makes perfect!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
One central repository for all of our suppliers so that we hold onto their data and only request it once. The audit trails for contract negotiation are excellent.

Ensure a full understanding of how each workflow operates before going live.
