What do you like best about the product?
All the popular packages available and easy to instal. Also speed of application is great.
What do you dislike about the product?
Keep changing versions which requires package selection difficulty

What do you like best about the product?
Debian is generally meant for tech-savvies as it offers way more features to that other OSs, so counting it as a feature that it gives yiu generous flexibility in installing zillions of UNIX/Linux based software.

You need to be knowledgeable of Linux as it isn't as straightforward as OSs such as Windows and Mac OS, plus, you'll have to be good with terminal

An open-source, restriction free OS for Rasperry Pi.

What do you like best about the product?
Debian 11 is a simple and reliable distro that just helps you to make the work done. You won’t get any surprise with it - neither negative nor positive. This LTS release is supported for 5 years. So, you can install it and just focus on your work. Also, you need to have some Linux experience to install and configure Debian 11.
What do you dislike about the product?
On the other hand, the software in Debian is always a bit older than it should be. You can overcome this obstacle with Flatpak or Snap apps. But this will not give the experience of native apps.

Supported by numerous software applications and open-source tools. Easy to use once you have your software going.

Not very new-user friendly for installation

Able to run and host many free software on the platform due to so many devs making their products available to install into Debian.
A very stable and trustworthy Linux OS Distro
What do you like best about the product?
The installation is very straightforward and the package manager is the best you can have.
What do you dislike about the product?
The available versions of software can be a little older than other distros. This happens because the stable version does several checks and has strict criteria. The outcome is it is very hard (you need to try) to break your system by installing wrong .deb packages.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is an excellent OS that can be installed for free. Almost impossible to break it. The application "store" is very complete, and you have the choice of using great desktops full of features and also lightweight desktops for older machines.
A simple, secure and easy system to use
What do you like best about the product?
Debian is very lightweight system among the flavours. It provides a good stability and easiest command provides a simple configuration.
What do you dislike about the product?
Only thing I didn't like is it has outdated packages. Multiple times need to use older packages.

It's lightweight and free for use. It is very secure and gives us best time to use it on azure vms to run our production and staging/UAT codes.

Rock Solid Stability, makes it perfect for high priority processing.

It can be a little out of date due to the way devloping cycles work for it.

What do you like best about the product?
The best part about Debian for me is the user compatibility. Setting up and customizing has never been a more seamless experience to me. As a beginner too, i could easily manage to figure out my around the operating system

At times Debian can seem outdated in terms of support and usability for new packaged applications and libraries

As someone who likes to be experimenting and testing my applications in different linux environments and Debians easy to use and setup makes it exteremely easy to use and mess around with
