Action vs advise - it is about Zesty
What do you like best about the product?
We have been working with Zesty (former Cloudvisor) for several years. The main difference in the competitive market is that all of their solutions are fully automated and adapted to the client's AWS infrastructure. Easy integration, good dashboard, and perfect support. Zesty allows to track the saving in real-time that is helpful for analysis and forecast whenever you need it. I strongly recommend them when someone comes up with a question "how to optimize out AWS costs"?
What do you dislike about the product?
The limitation with AWS only, I would love to work with Zesty in regards to Azure and GCP too.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I would say about a set of benefits to working with Zesty:

Cloud Savings on auto-pilot!!!
What do you like best about the product?
What I like best, besides the significant cost savings Zesty is able to provide us, is that the system is completely effortless.
Zesty is an automatic system that purchases and sells commitments, based on our actual usage, this is really amazing.
We don't need to forecast our EC2 usage anymore, Zesty is doing it independently for us, and always gets the best discounts on the RI marketplace.

There is nothing to dislike, onboarding takes literally 10 minutes, and beyond that, the system is running on auto-pilot with absolutely zero human touch.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Nothing at this point. They had no chance to disappoint so far

Zesty perfected RI management to our benefit. We are saving money with them, while not losing any functionality
Doing reservation manually to save cost is actually spending money

Zesty takes away all the manual work of reviewing whole infrastructure and forecasting what to reserve and what not to reserve. On top of that we no longer need to be binded by instance type of family, you can change your infrastructure as you see fit without having to worry about existing reservations or buying new reservations for saving money.
Zesty actually saves more money than plain old reservation directly purchased from amazon and can learn your dynamic workload to actually even purchase savings plan as needed and can change it based on changes you make in infrastructure.
Zesty also offers a 100% buyback guarantee which is sweet in case there is some issue with reservations.

There is really nothing to dislike about Zesty! Just waiting for a few of the features to be available like RDS RI.

Onboarding and Integration are super easy, and before having a contract you can get a detailed report on the additional savings potential.
Savings are significant - after a few day their algorithm finds the sweet spots and some crazy opportunities in the Reserved/Saving plans market, utilize them much better than humans.
Besides the additional significant savings, the feeling of being flexible and not worry about resource changes because of RI is great - and make the team focus on scaling instead of managing reservation.
To sum up - they help you take money from the ground with very little effort.

The platform working amazing! after 1 month of using we saved over 50k $ per month. the technical service is great and provide professional and patient service.

Simply the best way to reduce cloud cost
What do you like best about the product?
The onboarding was surprisingly quick, we immediately saw how much we could save. Within the first week our coverage of savings reached 99%. We pay a percent from what we save and we manage to save much more than we could have without them.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing really. We're waiting for their Spot solution to be out...
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were manually managing our commitments and we would never reach such high coverage rates since we didn't want to be stuck with over-provisioned instances. With this solution, we don't need to worry about it
