Branch performs all the necessary functions to operate as a worthwhile MMP.
What do you like best about the product?
The visibility, the ease of setting up, the account management and accommodation to specific client needs. The ability to easily export data to plug into our data warehouse.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the SKAN data could be a lot clearer. There's definitely a case to be said around the nature of SKAN as a whole, but ultimately it appears as if the data we see in Google App Campaigns for Install mismatch what we see in Branch SKAN dashboard. Also other MMPs offer the ability to track uninstalls which could help us optimise our app install campaigns better.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The main problem Branch solves is a thorough deeplinking solution which benefits Hostelworld massively by being able to run campaigns that offer a seamless user experience.

Will always accept a lower price, but their value is there.

New sign-up fraud prevention. Referrals fraud prevention. Marketing attribution.
Branch are good to work with and allow us to do a lot of tracking

That is is an easy-to-use platform and has a lot of the data needed to report.

It is hard to group together data from SKAD network and opted in users, as well as cross platform

Branch seamlessly optimizes user experience across platforms
What do you like best about the product?
Branch allows us to seamlessly connect our users across platforms. For example, creating a direct mail QR code that takes users to our website or app (or the app store to download it) is quick and simple. There are many possibilities for connecting our app with email campaigns as well. The Implementation and Account teams are top-notch. Our Customer Success Manager inspires us to continually optimize and try new things to maximize the service's value. Last but not least, the support team is very responsive and helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
There aren't any downsides to using Branch. However, having a comprehensive view of analytics, such as web appointments, would be nice. Right now, we're only able to see app appointments in the dashboard.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Branch provides a way for us to bridge the gap between platforms. We use email deep links to route users to the website or app, where they can schedule an appointment. We also use mobile journey banners to route users into the app (or app stores) and QR codes to send users to the app or website...among other tactics!

The team is helpful with scheduling time and discussing our strategies to determine the best options moving forward.

The product is continually being improved. We wish there were more customization available for the mobile banners.

Branch is helping us with our mobile strategies and identifying ways to increase engagement among our mobile users.
Branch is a best in class marketing tool that is critical for measuring marketing impact.

The customer support team has a hands on approach, and is relentless at solving our problems & answering questions quickly.

I wish there were more design options & design built into the dashboard.

Branch is key to determining what type of placement to show to targeted audience, when, and how frequently.
Good tool, but digital ad industry is changing
What do you like best about the product?
Mobile App tracking and deep links! Ability to slice and dice standard campaign data by various campaign attributes.
What do you dislike about the product?
SKAD reporting is limited, and manual combination of SKAD and Standard data.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Some of the advanced mobile attribution reporting is beneficial as we try to find other ways to measure marketing success. Given iOS (and soon Android) data tracking restrictions, we need other ways to measure impact.
Allows your to make the most out of your marketing strategy
What do you like best about the product?
There are several things that Branch does well. Firstly, Branch allows us to track the source of our app traffic and attribute this traffic to specific marketing campaigns. This attribution plays a critical role in quantifying the performance of our marketing campaigns and optimizing them over time. Moreover, Branch also provides insights into this traffic and helps slice data on various dimensions like demographics, app activity, etc. Lastly, Branch is immensely useful in tracking our customer's activity across platforms. Given the cross-platform nature of our product, many customers start their journey on one platform like mweb and then switch to a different platform like App later within the same session. Being able to thread together a meaningful journey for such customers plays a vital role in understanding their behavior.
What do you dislike about the product?
While Branch does a great job of traffic analysis and attribution, it does not offer the best reporting, dashboarding, and insights. Secondly, it is difficult to create and publish custom events with custom payloads on Branch. We end up relying on integrating Branch with other logging tools like AppsFlyer for these use cases.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Branch helps us analyze app traffic in an intelligent manner. The insights we derive from Branch help us optimize our marketing campaigns and also give directions for our overall marketing strategy. Branch also allows our marketing team to run personalized campaigns for our users, which leads to improved click-through rates (CTR) and conversion rates (CVR). This improvement results in a direct dollar impact in terms of improved revenue.
Overall good Experience
What do you like best about the product?
It is easy to integrate campaigns on the Branch. You can optimize your campaign through daily stats given by branch. You can also prevent fraud through branch internal fraud tool.
What do you dislike about the product?
Though branch has its own internal fraud tool, we are not able to know exact what type of fraud is happening on the campaigns. I think the branch should specify the fraud reason as well so that we can optimize the campaign accordingly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The branch is helping in monitoring the mobile campaigns by providing real-time conversion reports. Also the branch had its own internal fraud tool which help us to differentiate between the fraud in the campaign.
