Cloud Academy - AWS Cloud practitioner success
What do you like best about the product?
The presentations are professionally delivered and the full content is provided to allow you to progress on to the exam certifications. There is a good support provided if you have questions on the subject matter and the response is very swift.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing to dislike in the delivery of the material but it can be useful to have a reference book alongside the cloud academy membership in order to look into some areas in more detail or to aid revision for certification exams
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have completed the AWS cloud practitioner certification to support my experience in cloud technologies within my current job role. I am now moving on to other cloud based subjects and more specifically looking to gain a cyber security qualification
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are looking for access to well delivered courses that will allow you to progress in attaining recognised qualifications in the cloud and related subjects Cloud Academy are an excellent and very cost effective option. The cost of attending classroom courses can be prohibitive to many, the approach of working through the online courses at your own pace and at a minimal cost is in my opinion a highly sensible approach.
Any new technology comes with growing pains,Cloud supports all capabilities to unlocks IT industry.

I believe as cloud computing increasingly becomes an enterprise core competency, the skill demands for IT teams are both essential to digital transformation initiatives and increasingly scarce.

What do you dislike about the product?
Cloud Academy is an Operating System for Technology Skills and comes with the perfect mix of technology and content slightly they need to improve us to train in Hybrid operations.
I'm using Cloud Academy as my personal training platform, and I keep looking for something to improve, however, I do see something to suggest.Sometimes things are not so easy to find. The search function could be better. It seems like this should be easier/faster but it wasn't bad really.
Dislike is - It's a bit pricey when compared to other competitors.
* I didn't like User Interface, it should be more eye catching to be easy access.
* Overall, it's a decent enough platform to learn and experience new cutting edge technologies with professional guidance.Maybe i miss some courses about Linux or another technology. Difficult of quizzes should have been little bit higher.

I have started a new job as an Azure PaaS engineer, its given me amazing knowledge and hands on experience, and allowed me confidence starting my new role. This has also benefited my company too, as i have been able to deliver projects quicker, and with more confidence. Looking forward to continued learning on your platform. i am using this platform for Improve my skills on cloud, in my case, specifically on Azure platform.

With cloud academy I was able to pass the AZ-900 and AWS Fundamentals exams. Now I'm studying for the AZ-103. Also I've been studying for the AZ-300 and AZ-301 exams, which is going to be a great achievement in my career. Those exams are mandatory for Microsoft Specialists role.
I'm also using Cloud Academy to prepare myself for professional certification exam. Done my First azure certificate by support of Cloud Academy reasonable free training at my company.

First of all i would like to thank my company for free learning from academy on different bunch of courses ,Subscribe for trail and taste the flavor of teaching methodology - you will definitely wonder and go for long-standing relationship for learning with less price, You are about to enter into a great content hub, with a huge variety of videos, tests and labs as well. If you have people that need to improve the knowledge about Azure, AWS and Google Cloud, you are at the right place.
Very useful platform to self-study and variety of courses
What do you like best about the product?
The explanations and the topics and video duration, all excellent, all topics about cloud are useful, i love this platform and every time that i can i use it.
What do you dislike about the product?
The topics sometimes are superficial and we need a lab to practice. We like more explanations and some type of lab where we could work and work directly on the tools.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The migration from current systems to cloud in my company are very useful and all topics about cloud were delivered by cloud academy. the best tool in my opinion

Despite the excellent material, the cost is still high (high prices!)

It helps a lot to choose Cloud Academy when there is no budget available to provision resources in the cloud for testing.
The platform to get from 0 to Cloud Professional in four weeks
What do you like best about the product?
The courses on the platform not only have PowerPoint battles, but a lot of practical trainings as well. This way one has the possibility to really test the knowledge. There are a lot of courses where one is based on the other. That way learning paths for certain qualifications can be set up. The courses are on the spot and allow a very targeted learning. There is a HUGE selection of content available and the available time that the typical consultant has during the day is too short to absolve all the courses. But as there is a mobile application available, the training can be done while on the road as well. This is a real benefit over other offerings from competitors.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes things are not so easy to find. The search function could be better. Also some topics are not covered. Although there are a lot of Kubernetes courses, Openshift is not available, although this is used extensively especially in professional environments.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am training myself for topics that I need in my job as a Cloud consultant. Here I can get the trainings spot on that I need. Also the courses provide the basics for my professional exams. As the content is very broad, I can train myself for a wide spectrum of certificates, like AWS technical architect, GCP architect, Kubernetes architect, etc.
I also use Cloud Academy to train myself in practical things like Terraform scripting or use the courses to refresh my knowledge in some areas.

The best hands on labs available
What do you like best about the product?
Undoubtedly the labs. I learn by doing and I love the fact that the cloud academy validates your work. If you’ve misconfigured something in a lab cloud academy pinpoints the section for you to troubleshoot.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would say the exams could do with updating but nothing major.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My day job is working on Networks so I’m not getting real world exposure to cloud. The cloud academy labs give me that hands on real world experience or as close to it as possible.

The hands on labs will give you the exposure you need to become proficient on cloud platforms.
Good preparation for obtaining cloud certs
What do you like best about the product?
Each training module is complete, it seems to cover all the bases for each subject I have gone though training for. Its nice because they have videos complete with screen shots of the action you will be completing on AWS or Azure, plus there is also a text translation of what the instructor said so you can read it instead of watching, if that suits your learning process better. The labs are challenging without being overly difficult, I have had really no issues completing them.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there were some additional labs or optional ones you could go through, but what they have is definitely adequate.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The training I was going though was to prepare us for managing AWS in a sysops role, I thought the Cloud Practitioner training coupled with the Sysops training was very helpful for my needs. I am not in that role yet, but based on the internal training I am receiving, this training will be very beneficial.
