The use cases depend on the industry. Finance, Telco, Manufacturing & Consumer Goods (CPG). Most of our customers are from these industries. We have regular projects in Mexico. Some use cases are around government requests to all banking and financing institutions, as well as public companies, to present specific reports every month. We use the solution to generate the reports for our customers. The sales and finance areas have a lot of requirements for such reports to get insights and predictive analysis.

An easy-to-deploy solution with a variety of use cases and excellent reporting features
What is our primary use case?
How has it helped my organization?
We use Qlik Sense to manage all our sales KPIs as well as renewal plans. It's the tool where all the Go to Market plan is designed and modeled.
What is most valuable?
Reporting and Alerting are valuable features of the solution. Many companies are requesting to implement them and now want to explore and use AutoML. It is a machine learning module easy to use with enough capacity to run sales/churn models.
What needs improvement?
Adoption experience is required. There is some technical background required to do some of the reporting. Customers often request easy interaction with other tools like Excel and PowerPoint.
For how long have I used the solution?
My organization has been partners with the product for more than ten years.
What do I think about the scalability of the solution?
Two of Qlik's main differentiators are scalability and analytics capabilities. It could solve extensive data size dB.
How are customer service and support?
I rate the support an eight or nine out of ten from the customers' perspective. The platform and the solution itself are quite stable, most of the support requirements are around getting the best usage of the solution.

How was the initial setup?
The initial setup is quite simple. The setup and integration with the customers can be done fast. The deployment method depends on the industry. It can be deployed on-premises and on the cloud. Banking customers request to have the product deployed on-premise. We have around 50% of the product on-premise and 50% on the cloud.
What about the implementation team?
The deployment takes less than a month. Most of the time, it takes one to two weeks to do the connections and create at least one dashboard in place. Then, depending on how deep the customer would need the reporting to be, it will take longer. It takes mostly two weeks for the setup, dashboards, and getting connectivity ready. We probably need one or two system engineers or IT engineers to deploy the product, no more than that. We have a lot of guys who have good experience with Qlik.
What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?
Upfront seems to be the most expensive tool. But when we talk about TCO, then the pricing rate change as this is one "all-inclusive tool" and does not need to add other services/elements to complete the setup.
What other advice do I have?
We see more requirements around machine learning and predictive analytics. The customers could optimize the value for their money and increase ROI by using and getting most of the functionality in place. Most companies initially use the product as a dashboard tool, but if you do that, you are not getting the real value of it. Overall, I rate the tool a nine out of ten.

Most flexible an intuitive platform
What do you like best about the product?
An excellent tool that makes your workflow so easy and intuitive. It has a fantastic, customizable UI; every user can customize it according to their work and interest, which suits them. Syncing and extracting information from other websites and data sources is an incredible feature. A feature also enables the users to analyze the imported data and generate the perfect report properly. Data modeling is so helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
Only limited data modeling and navigation features are available, which sometimes takes longer because of heavy data importing in the system. The system sometimes also crashes due to more considerable-sized data processing. The processing is affected due to poor internet connectivity and server down issues.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using this platform for gathering and collecting data and information from multiple data sources and producing accurate analytical data and reporting with this software in the quickest processing. The software is safe and encrypted end to end; all our data is stored and secured here. We are keeping our confidential information and documents here in one place. No data loss issue is experienced, and this software has been so benifial for our team and organization.

What do you like best about the product?
Qlik Sense is very a very insightful tool. It is quite simple to use and it gives you all the information that you need in order to make your business grow and stay concurrent on the market.
What do you dislike about the product?
As a business analyst I sometimes miss some features in the native objects, which would be very helpful with developing applications for users. I think they are working on that with every new issue.

Qlik Sense is solving many business questions for our clients and helps them make informative decisions based on already analyzed data, which saves them a lot of time.

What do you like best about the product?
I have used QlikSense in the past for various business requirements related to data visualisation and found it veryuser-friendly and feature rich. The interface is quit easy to work with and comes with the ability to perform in graph filter (i.e. click and view). What I found most interesting is its ability to do drill-down to understand the root-cause of a particular behaviour from a data perspective.
What do you dislike about the product?
Overall QlikSense has been very helpful. The only downside I witnessed a few times was the latency aspect. It takes some time for the dashboard to refresh when in-graph filters are used.

QlikSense helps us to bring specific reporting online, which brings standardisation and helps team to become more productive. It helps us to present a single-source of truth for different business requirements from a data prespective.

What do you like best about the product?
This software fascinates me because of the analytical charts it provides for investigating and archiving data processing. The user experience is polished and simple. Qlik Sense is reasonably priced, so I can take advantage of its features without going broke. The user interface and the whole management procedure will amaze you. We tested several different data analyses with this program and found that all reports could be created with little effort.

Qlik Sense significantly improves our data analysis efficiency. We have started using statistical charts to improve the reporting system, and it is clear that this software is essential to achieve the expected results. Keeping track of all the data we present and analyzing it visually has proved to be an enriching experience. We can use it to analyze any information professionally at any time.
