First in class for behavioral analytics
What do you like best about the product?
After the set-up, all data are easily trackable and available for analysis.
Another killing feature is the easiness and flexibility of customer segmentation

What do you dislike about the product?
Working in a matrix organisation, sometimes there's not all the departments are aligned on changes to the UI. We don't know when changes impacting the zoning or the goals are exactly done.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Contentsquare is a powerful tool to shine data on real users' behaviour. Partnered with an experimentation tool, it can also effectively support the AB test roadmap.
Best tool to understand how users interact with your website
What do you like best about the product?
I have been using ContentSquare for several years, a great tool to help understand how users behave on the site. It provides a vast amount of insights and metrics, all that you need for a thorough analysis. It is very visual, has a definition of each metric within the tool for a quick reminder, and I like the ability to export the data. The ability to integrate it with external tools is a plus.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think it takes some time to get familiar with the tool to use it fully. It can be a little overwhelming and challenging at times, but once you start using it regularly, it's becoming your primary platform to get insights from. I found CS team and CS University to be very helpful when you need guidance and support.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps us to make data-driven decisions to improve the user experience on the website. Great to discover quick wins that we can act on immediately and create hypotheses for A/B testing.
Very intuitive and easy to use
What do you like best about the product?
The overall CS live tool has been very helpful for people like myself who aren't specialized in GA, but can easily find it because we can simply click on elements on the page and get data.
What do you dislike about the product?
the only downside is that we have to get data on specific URL instead of a more general overview. It's hard to see product data on overall usage on product pages instead of just one URL

Understanding where users are dropping off, seeing where users are clicking and understanding their journeys on the site from various pages

Most basic functions that I want to use as I'm learning are self-explanatory.

Minor errors when selecting zones in the zoning analysis.

We are now able to have some insights on the performance of our homepage assets.

Being able to see how customers are interacting with content and navigational elements throughout the site.

Sometimes the live tool can be a little glitchy.

What do you like best about the product?
I like that I can compare heatmaps, and easily pull different historical snapshots of a page. Definitely an improvement on Clicktale. Great support as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
Deleting zones is tedious, the UI can be clunky and the segment api has issues.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helps us "SHOW" the data in a new way. But the biggest solve is attractiveness rate and exposure rate; metrics that are hard to duplicate in traditional web analytics tools.

Contentsquare is powerful data-driven software that gives you deep insights into the customer journey and a fine-grained understanding of your website's performance and monetization. It helps you understand roadblocks that customers face while using the site and helps you to see opportunities for product sales.

Things are working fine. No major or minor problems working with the tool

Great team and support, but can do with quicker developments of a roadmap. Can be very insightful
What do you like best about the product?
It's great that there is impact quantification so you can measure how much value changes are making, and being able to run heatmaps side by side is great too (especially with the level of detail that segments allow you to go into).
I've always felt that the team and support are very responsive and quick to resolve issues.
The page mapping can be a positive feature but can also be a hindrance. When using mappings for journey analysis, sometimes it's better have the ability to view grouped pages, but when you want to drill down you have to go back and map all those pages, which can be time-consuming AND requires constant maintenance.

What do you dislike about the product?
As mentioned above, the mappings can be time-consuming, and the logic in which they have been made will defer from person to person, so you might end up with lots of different mappings which can get confusing.
Having used similar tools before, I think some features should be the standard part of the product. Development of new features seems a bit slow, so they need to catch -up to remain competitive.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use the heat-mapping regularly. The site changes daily, so it allows us to see the impact of these instantly, and we regularly make changes based on the information it provides.

I love being able to collect data on specific spots within our sites. This allows me to pinpoint what users are struggling with and what keeps them coming back.
What do you dislike about the product?
Because there are so many resources within contentsquare, this also makes it challenging to learn.

Contentsquare gives us insights into what our users are experiencing and what areas are pain points for them.
