Powerful, Flexible SEO Insights—But Finding the Right Workflow Takes Time

  • April 13, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
There is a lot of information and a lot of flexibility in the platform. It tracks our keywords effectively and shows us how our pages show up in google results.

It seems the folks of Conductor stay on top of trends and we are able to view our AI Search Performance.

The support team has been great. Super friendly and quick to help.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's been difficult to find a good workflow and be able to tackle problems with SEO in a well-intentioned way. I wish there was a better way to report on changes made and then have the platform give feedback on performance.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Conductor is helping keep track of where we appear in google search results in our key markets. They are showing where we improve and where we have lost traction.

Great SEO Insights with Room for UX Improvement

  • April 13, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like that Conductor is not just a tracking tool. It really helps me understand what to do next, like identifying content gaps or spotting quick wins, and seeing where competitors are outperforming us. This makes it easier to prioritize work instead of just reporting on it. I really value it from a reporting perspective, as it's strong in translating SEO performance into metrics stakeholders care about, like visibility, clicks, and growth. This helps when presenting to clients or senior teams, bridging the gap between SEO metrics and commercial impact. Another feature I appreciate is the real-time monitoring and tech insights. Having that layer for site health and alerts means I'm not just reacting to performance drops but can proactively catch issues.
What do you dislike about the product?
The main issue for me is that the platform can feel a bit clunky and not always intuitive, especially when you're trying to move between scenarios or workflows. At times, it takes longer than it should to find specific data or switch between views, which can slow things down when you're working quickly. I also think the UX could be streamlined, particularly for day-to-day use. There's a lot of functionality in there, which is great but it can be a bit overwhelming, and not everything is surfaced in the most user-friendly way. A cleaner, more simplified interface would make it easier to get to insights faster. Also, the initial setup was difficult.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Conductor consolidates SEO data, turning it into actionable insights, helps identify content gaps, and spot technical issues like crawl problems. It effectively connects SEO performance to commercial impact, simplifying stakeholder reporting and making large-scale content management more efficient.

Comprehensive SEO Tool with Room for AI Enhancements

  • April 13, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I use Conductor for keyword tracking and find its AI assistant particularly valuable. It allows me to write content briefs by giving key seed keywords and then creating a content brief that checks against what other competitors are writing about that topic. This feature really helps identify and fill in the gaps for topics we're missing. Additionally, I appreciate how easy it is to fix technical web issues with Conductor, like missing canonical tags or long meta descriptions. The initial setup was straightforward, thanks to the helpful biweekly conduct calls that guided us in creating keyword lists and segments for our markets.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like to see citation shares and AI overviews so that I can see where we are winning. Right now, you can't see which citations we had so far and we lost to our competitors. We can see prompts but that's not enough. It would be nice to also understand the sentiment and if our client has positive or negative sentiment.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Conductor for keyword tracking, content research, and optimizations across different markets. Its AI assistant helps create content briefs by analyzing competitor topics. It also allows me to fix technical web issues, like missing tags or long meta descriptions, easily.

Hands-On Training and Frequent Updates, but Reporting Metrics and Integrations Need Work

  • April 13, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The team at Conductor have been really hands on in training our internal teams. Ensuring we're equipped to use the tool effectively. Conductor are always releasing updates to the tool as well, ensuring we can measure performance as search evolves.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nuanced definitions and metrics making it harder to report on things.
The interface could be better, I often find myself having to test/various filters to get the metrics I want.
Integrations - lacks good reporting integrations (looker) currently limited to a couple of views
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're using conductor for ongoing technical performance monitoring
We're also using it for tracking against our objectives - market share etc.

All-in-One SEO, GEO & AI Content Platform with Great Customer Support

  • April 13, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It integrates multiple features that help marketers deliver real impact. I was able to access SEO, GEO, and AI content creation in one place (very useful btw). The reporting allows you to see performance clearly, and its integration with GA4 makes the process much simpler. The support team is also very good and follows up consistently to make sure product usage is as expected.
What do you dislike about the product?
The UX is maybe not that great, some things are not that obvious and although the intention on the reporting is good, the fact that you cannot set your own reporting isn't a good thing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Building GEO with content that actually works and tracking AI prompts

Great ability to think big to prepare for the future of search

  • April 13, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Conductor as a company thinks big picture, ensuring they build at scale with integrity. The CS team is outstanding and truly looks to understand the client's needs and scope.
What do you dislike about the product?
UX isn't always the best for an enterprise business. For example, reports aren't easily replicable across accounts, but CS team jumps in to help.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Not everyone in an organization is going to be an SEO/AI expert but will need to be informed as they create marketing campaigns. The idea that Conductor launched MCP so users can simply ask questions based on brand performance is so smart. Now, they don't have to spend weeks becoming a Conductor expert. They can simply ask about performance and include it in their workflows.

Empowers Content Strategy with Robust Technical Insights

  • April 13, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I primarily use Conductor for keyword and topic research and to measure the technical performance of our site. It makes creating a content roadmap and ideas easier. The way it breaks down the technical limitations of our site is extremely useful. We use this information on a monthly basis for client reporting, enabling us to measure technical site improvements visually and numerically. The technical reporting aspect is what made us choose Conductor over SEMrush. Additionally, the initial setup was easy, and Chelsea Hoover, our account manager, is especially helpful and personable.
What do you dislike about the product?
Competitor site research and keyword research could be expanded to be more visually appealing and to include how many AI citations the keywords and competitors capture.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Conductor for keyword research and technical performance measurement, simplifying content roadmap creation and identifying site limitations, making our reporting more visual and numerical.

Conductor Turns SEO Insights Into Action With Great Support and Flexibility

  • April 10, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
What I’ve found most valuable is that Conductor goes beyond basic keyword tracking and genuinely helps inform decisions. I use it for keyword research and tracking, optimizing existing content, identifying technical issues, and understanding where our users are coming from. It’s also been useful for monitoring competitors and spotting gaps in our content strategy.

It was also easy to connect to our existing GA and GTM setup, which made it easier to start using the data in a meaningful way without a lot of extra lift. The platform is intuitive to navigate once you’ve spent a little time with it, and the support from our account team has been a major factor in helping us get up to speed and apply it effectively. The AI-powered content generation features and built-in prompts are especially helpful for a small but mighty team wearing a lot of hats, making it easier to move from insight to execution.

It also offers strong visibility into how content performs across both traditional SEO and emerging AEO and zero-click strategies. That broader view has helped us make more intentional, data-informed decisions, rather than simply reacting to rankings. We also really value not being limited by seat restrictions, which allows us to bring in anyone across the organization as needed. That flexibility makes it easier to collaborate across teams and ultimately get more value from the platform without worrying about budget approval to add more users.

We’ve also seen consistent performance improvements from being able to prioritize updates based on real data, which helps ensure we’re focusing on the highest-impact opportunities.
What do you dislike about the product?
There’s definitely a lot of depth to the platform, which can take some time to fully learn, especially if you’re trying to connect insights across different areas like keyword research, content performance, and technical SEO. Some workflows aren’t immediately intuitive at first, and it can take a bit of time to understand how everything fits together.

That said, the support from the account team and ongoing resources like webinars make it much easier to get up to speed and continue building on what you can do over time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before using Conductor, a lot of our SEO and content decisions were more fragmented and reactive. It was harder to connect keyword insights, content performance, and technical issues into a clear, prioritized strategy.

Conductor helps bring those pieces together in one place, making it much easier to identify what’s actually worth focusing on. We’re able to prioritize content updates based on real data, identify gaps more quickly, and better understand where our users are coming from and how they’re engaging with our content.

It’s been especially valuable as we’ve shifted toward AEO and zero-click strategies, giving us better visibility into how content performs beyond traditional rankings and helping us make more intentional, forward-looking decisions.

As a result, we’re able to spend less time guessing and more time executing on high-impact work, which has led to more consistent performance improvements and better alignment across teams. Even better is that we have continued to see these shifts pay off in sales and higher average order values.

Exceptional SEO and AEO Platform with Easy-to-Use Dashboard

  • April 10, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like using Conductor to track organic and AI search performance, including keyword rankings and market share. I also appreciate the ability to optimize content for the best performance in search. Conductor provides an exceptional platform to track important KPIs and monitor the results of my organic search marketing efforts. The easy-to-use, all-in-one dashboard is fantastic because it lets anyone on the team, even those with little or no SEO experience, track and optimize due to its easy to follow dashboards. It's great not having to manually calculate data, especially for market share pie charts and competitor ranking comparisons. Additionally, the support team is fantastic.
What do you dislike about the product?
The report outputs could use some improvements so that they are useful in presentations. I need to screenshot pie charts and other graphical elements when I'm putting together a PowerPoint deck, so it would be helpful to have the reporting data in a more visually appealing format. I'm not exactly sure what would make it better - but something that would be PPT-friendly out of the box.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Conductor to track search performance, keyword rankings, and market share. It provides an easy platform for monitoring KPIs and enables non-SEOs to track and optimize confidently with its intuitive dashboards.

All-in-One Search Performance Platform That Keeps Getting Better

  • April 10, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like having one platform that can look at our data across the SERP(keywords, SERP features, Market Share), AI agents (brand mentions or citations, market share), GSC, and our analytics platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
There isn't one thing that I dislike. However, in a few cases, I've made suggestions to improve the product and the teams have worked those features into updated versions. The platform is constantly updating and improving to help customers understand performance and identify opportunities in the evolving search landscape.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Understanding our presence in AI engines and identifying competitors. This identifies opportunities to create or update content in hopes of out performing competition.
