Great SEO Platform, Excellent People
What do you like best about the product?
The support is the best thing this platform offers. The team is always eager to help with the setups needed. They also provide great recommendations and suggestions on how to improve and increase our organic traffic.
What do you dislike about the product?
The tool has a lot of features, you will need to know what you're looking for. The support and training provided is great, but sometimes it's a bit difficult to track and remember everything the platform offers.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps us identify which keywords we should focus on, as well as find new keyword opportunities we can write content around,

What do you like best about the product?
My favorite part of Searchlight is the reporting features, they are easy to use and look visually appealing. It provides you with suggestions to improve your content, which is ideal if you need some starting point to improved, providing automatically generated information that eliminates a large amount of manual data and optimizes results. When it comes to reports, they are easy to discuss and help me solve any problems.
What do you dislike about the product?
DeepCrawl is a powerful tool that helps me detect any bugs on the site, but it lacks of some important information, like it does not show titles, full descriptions or alt tags. On the other hand, other tools show an amount of information that can be overwhelming sometimes. I wish it could be simplified.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our content team uses Conductor Searchlight as the foundation for our weekly calendar and to analyze the ranking of keywords so our main products can appear on the first page. We love it because it combines all the reports in one place with a weekly report that I can send to the leadership team. Besides, it allows us to tell stories when we need to.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Conductor Searchlight is ideal for e-commerce companies looking to improve their search results. It's great to create segmented keywords and reports to share with each department across the company. When it comes to similar tools, most of the business SEO platforms we evaluated needed more time to drive the same results. However, it would difficult hard to implement on agencies that have to manage many customer sites to display the ROI.

What do you like best about the product?
The keyword research tool is most useful for me in a time when data from other keyword research tool is limited or not helpful. Their tool targets correctly and gives me the search volume and planning numbers that I need.
What do you dislike about the product?
The content mapping tool is cumbersome and not as useful as it could be. It requires a lot of setup for not much return than what I already knew about our content.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Expansion of product features and updates related to the ever-changing SERP has helped us tremendously with our reporting.

It's great for keyword research, page and category level reporting, and competitive insights.
Great SEO Platform
What do you like best about the product?
Their support is excellent and the product provides great insight into what works and what doesn't. The ability to track HTML changes and track the impact on visibility is paramount to SEO success.
What do you dislike about the product?
The platform is a bit pricey and can be hard to justify to the executive team initially. The navigation between tools can be a bit cumbersome.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
SearchLight provides great high-level recommendations for our team to implement. The DeepCrawl integration is great for discovering any technical issue. The platform has really helped us understand what types of content work for us along with understanding what changes are moving the needle.

To fully utilize the platform you should have a full-time SEO in-house or use their managed services. The platform is pretty intuitive but you do need someones with a strong SEO background to leverage it fully.

This tool provides great insights, especially for teams who are new to SEO or do not have much experience. The platform design is easy to navigate and analyze. We are able to pull valuable and actionable data from Searchlight to help with keyword performance and market share.

The platform provides so much information and can be overwhelming when first starting to use the platform. However, it does not take very long to get acquainted with the tool and learn what to look at and how to navigate.

I use Conductor Searchlight to view keyword performance and identify areas that can be optimized. Using this tool has been a great benefit, as it provides visibility into data that I was not utilizing.

What do you like best about the product?
Conductor brings together many different systems in one easy-to-use place. You can watch the performance of your keywords, find new keyword opportunities, group pages and segments, report and much more all in one place. Plus, excellent customer service.
What do you dislike about the product?
A few minor features are missing once you start poking around but nothing major. The customer service team is amazing and always assists with any issues big or small.

Having everything in one place is huge. The ability to connect specific keywords, content, and webpages to success and easy reporting is key. Takes your SEO/content game up a notch and helps prove value to stakeholders.

What do you like best about the product?
Actually, there are many things to like from an SEO perspective in Conductor because it offers comprehensive insight information to all the areas that a company needs in order to be successful online: from competitive research to technical insights, from content opportunities to information management and reporting. And on top of that, they have a great customer support service.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing comes to mind that I can put here. Is the most useful platform that I worked with, and not just for me as an SEO, but also for my colleagues from Content, Social and Paid that have other skill-sets.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Conductor as main source of information and analysis for all online assets that we manage and develop. Is hard to enumerate all the problems solved in the last years as they are many and from different areas, but we improved a lot due to it on all areas.
Good platform but could use some improvements
What do you like best about the product?
No limit on seats for users so people outside of SEO can use it
What do you dislike about the product?
The explorer tool not giving comprehensive enough keyword research. I find it always pulling related keywords but doesnt contain any of the key words/phrases I searched for despite the platform pulling from SEMRush. If I made a semrush search it would be way better.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Getting the content writing team to use the tool and not relying so much on the SEO team to provide research.
Amazing platform, amazing people
What do you like best about the product?
I love everything about Conductor. The tool itself is both high-level and granular in it's level of monitoring and insights. That means I can share all the most appropriate story with the right stakeholders easily. On top of that Conductor does part of my job for me, but auto-generating insights that would normally take a lot of data crunching to collect. What's more is that Conductor is led by a group of talented, down-to-earth, super-helpful and just awesome individuals.
What do you dislike about the product?
I can't see the whole URL populated in tables so I take an extra second or two to hover over it and see which URL is being tracked for a particular kw. This is honestly a small thing I was going to submit to their product team to easily fix (they're open to feedback like this!)... I struggled to find things to put here because there isn't much that I dislike about Conductor
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With Conductor we're able to track SEO activity better than we ever were before. When changes are made to the site they are logged in Conductor automatically. All of our keyword and content performance is intricately monitored and mapped so we can easily digest data and act accordingly. The weekly insights keep us on our toes and auto measure things like how many answer boxes our content appears for. We're able to tell great stories with data at the end of every month, quarter and as issues arise. On top of that we have unlimited user licenses so the paid team and competitive insights team is using the tool as well.
Excellent SEO Platform
What do you like best about the product?
The professional services team is phenomenal. Additionally, the platform is very intuitive and easy to learn. We use Conductor across our Website and content team. Our content team specifically uses the platform almost daily to not only set our editorial calendar but also to optimize content.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is very little to dislike. Our package consisting of software and professional services was a bit expensive, but we will see ROI within less than one year, which may be somewhat rich for most start ups.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using Searchlight primarily to guide our technical SEO strategy and set our weekly editorial calendar. We are able to optimize specific pages from an on-page standpoint with the technical auditing tools, and our content team can use the platform to create an editorial calendar based on real problems that our audience is performing searches to solve.

Definitely leverage the professional services team.
