Druva: An Affordable, Easy to Use, Secure and Reliable Backup Solution

We've been using Druva Cloud Insync, Microsoft 365 and Phoenix backup for a few years now, and we're really happy with it. It's easy to use, affordable, and very reliable.
One of the things we like most about Druva is that it's so easy to set up. We just downloaded the software, created an account, and started backing up our files. It's been running in the background ever since, and we haven't had to worry about it at all.
We also like that we can access our backups from anywhere. We can log in to our accounts from our phones, laptops, or any other device with an internet connection. This is really convenient because it means we can restore our files if we need to from anywhere.

The upsides of Druva have a centralized location for all our backups; the console GUI is easy to go from one product and add-on to the other. It has made our admin job much more manageable.

The Phoenix credit consumption model is a little challenging to get used to at first and needs monitoring.
It must be analyzed and looked at consistently to keep consumption in check.

It helps us deduce our data to save credits and money. The bandwidth also is saved this way.
The technical and customer support ensures all our issues are taken care of urgently, on a 24/7 basis- which reduces the time consumption of our IT admin team.

The Support staff is attentive and helpful.

The renewal price increase every year is something we're not a fan of. For preserve licenses I think it would be better to have a pool than charge per mailbox/user
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
M365 user data backup, Ransomeware protection and preserving data for terminated employees. We use it to follow our data retention policy, and saves us money because we can remove M365 E5 licenses from termed employees without losing their data.

The advantages of using Druva are the immutability and security of data.
The backups are also encrypted, and restoration is straightforward, requiring minimal effort.

The snapshot features for Windows and SQL cluster backups could be more comprehensive and detailed. Apart from this, everything has been great.

It has helped us in some problematic backup-related situations; for example, the whole system failed once, and Druva helped us perform a quick and smooth bare-metal recovery of the OS and data.

The solution works easily as designed; the technical staff is prompt and helpful. Both Insync and Phoenix are easy to implement, modify and use when setting and changing backup policies.
What do you dislike about the product?
The Azure backup could be slightly more agile, and maybe the pricing could be slightly lower, but we get what we're paying for, so it has been worth it from the beginning.

The solution was implemented without any hiccups, we didn't face many issues, and the backups and restores ran smoothly.

Amazing Backup solution tool
What do you like best about the product?
I have been using the Druva backup solution for the last two years, and it is a game-changer. It provides quick customer support and resolves issues faster. It backup laptops, various agents, and a Virtual machine with easy restoration steps.
What do you dislike about the product?
One thing that triggered me about the Druva solution is their slowness in restoration, especially from the secondary copy. Otherwise, it is a good backup solution tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Backing up and managing the user's laptop is too convenient as it provides a user-friendly GUI interface. The E-discovery feature allows downloading legal hold users large-sized data faster at defined locations.

The reporting feature could be more in-depth and comprehensive like the end of the day reports for example.

Druva helps us with airtight backups, immutability, cyber-resilience and makes our cyber insurance happier- overall it has been a really good experience that we look to continue.

Being a first-time customer of Druva, we needed a lot of assistance with the initial setup. The support team has been more than accommodating to help us, and show us what we need to do to make our configuration as successful as possible.

We are moving away from the high costs associated with Microsoft Azure backup platform, and the sales team with Druva, was able to make our budget fit! We also wanted an all-in-one platform that would not only backup our servers, but also our Salesforce environment. Druva is one of the few that actually allow an all-in-one solution. And The price point for service is better than any other competitor!
