Reliable Backup System
What do you like best about the product?
It's come in handy when I needed to recover my information after I was faced with a broken laptop (literally, in pieces).
What do you dislike about the product?
It's hard to find something to dislike -- it's been extremely reliable since my experience using it (almost 5 years).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Druva inSync allows me to have peace of mind that my data is being stored safely and can be recovered easily.
Incredibly simple and cost effective
What do you like best about the product?
It's simple to set up and start backing up data to the cloud. We saw 15x deduplication rates which has saved us a significant amount over standard data protection offerings that require hardware or tape.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish it allowed us to back up our local Oracle instance, but that's not supported today.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were seeing our data sizes growing and it felt like the hardware and tape guys were happy to just sell us more hardware and tape capacity. We heard about Druva from Gartner and liked the idea that we could store this all in the cloud at a lower cost than adding more hardware. We also liked that since it's an "as a service" offering we pay as we consume it, so we don't have the overhead and capex costs associated with hardware. We also have visibility to the deduplication and realize we were saving multiple copies and paying for more storage. With Druva Phoenix they dedupe it before moving to the cloud so we can see the dedupe rate and we pay less. We have seen a 15x deduplication rate and in the first 9 months a TCO reduction of almost 40% so far. We also have workloads on AWS and feel that Druva's new apollo offering will allow us to protect all out cloud applications, workloads and on premise data with one pane of glass, making backup and recovery easier.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Definitely recommend this solution if you want something that is as a service. It's simple to set up and administer, my back up guys love it. It's saved us significant money in the short term, so far. They use AWS as their back end, so I know it's safer than even my security internally.
Easy to use File Sharing System
What do you like best about the product?
Daily backups of your computer. Windows app that allows me use Druva as my computer file system(updates this info on the mobile app).Easy to use Mobile App.
What do you dislike about the product?
I've been using Druva for 4 years and I haven't found any dislikes yet.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Insync Share allows you to share documents across the organization. Daily backups of our company computers. If your computer crashes, they are able to quickly able to restore all your information from backup.

Its worth a try.
A Silent Partner
What do you like best about the product?
Our company has recently started using Druva and it has definitely added a piece of mind. I have always carried around a thumb drive, backing up to it whenever I remember to, and knowing we now have everything important updated to a cloud based back up daily gives a sense of security for our data. The software is straightforward, easy to use and is configurable and managed by our IT department.
What do you dislike about the product?
So far nothing to dislike has arisen, software works as expected and does a good job.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In a digital age filled with soft data and ever changing laws/requirements, having everything backed up is the best way to go. This software provides a simple solution that gives peace of mind and security.
Great option for backing up important documents
What do you like best about the product?
I like how simple it is to get the backup going. It can be set automatically so you setup which files you want to backup and it will automatically backup at whatever time interval you choose. I also like that you can be anywhere in the world and backup, as long you set the types of internet connections you allow for the actual backup.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it lags so it uses up a lot of RAM so the fan on my laptop gets super loud. So if I am working on something important, I usually pause it and wait for a time that my CPU usage is at a minimum to backup. Also, sometimes it takes too long to actually collect the user data to start the backup, so that definitely needs work.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I believe it solves the problem of having to store files on external drives, then having to carry those drives around. There are times you don't have the external hard drive with you so you cannot access a specific file. This way, everything is backed up so you know you can access the file from wherever you are in the world.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make sure you choose your file folders carefully because you don't want to backup things that aren't necessary. This will cause the backup to take much longer than it needs to be. Also, schedule the backup to when you feel you use the computer the least, so to ensure the backup process goes as quick as possible. In addition, internet connection and quality plays a big role in the success of the backup process. Make sure you are connected to a secure connection that has good quality connection.

Druva the best backup software
What do you like best about the product?
It is very easy to use. Dashboard looks very clear and shows all needed information. We can sleep peacefully.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is very hard to dislike this software. One think which our customers observed is the minimum limit of licenses. They think it should be lower than 25.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With Druva we can easily sort the data, secure it and teach our customers how they can work with their files specially if they have remote offices. They feel save with Druva.
Seamless installation and great technical support
What do you like best about the product?
We looked at several backup companies but decided Druva was the most cost effective solution. I deployed the inSync client all over the world. From the US and Europe to China and Japan our users were backing up their data in no time. Restoring files or whole laptops the process is easy and takes very little IT management. Highly recommend them.
What do you dislike about the product?
There’s not much to dislike about the product. Our only major issue was a Microsoft update that made logging off a computer slow. Np fault of Druva and the had a work-a-round.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having our Sales staff finally backing up their laptops was very big for us. The ability to retrieve data from ex-employees is also nice. It also helps our service desk refresh a corrupted computer a lot faster.

Restoring files or whole laptops the process is easy and takes very little IT management
