Easily setup environment logging system
What do you like best about the product?
The tutorials and online help made this an easy process - I'm new to this type of development
What do you dislike about the product?
There was nothing that stood out that I didnt like
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Logging and accessing data about abiotic environment. Implementation was a breeze and I'm not experienced in this field at all.

Must have you need analytics / dashboard while using a noSQL for actual transaction.
What do you like best about the product?
The support and sales team is excellent. We are in their most minor paid plan, yet they took time to set up call with us, gave us advice on integration, and replied to all our dumb queries.
Now the actual product just works. Our existing database is DynamoDB, and we needed analytics dashboards for our sales and operational team, which is difficult to build directly on DynamoDB as we can not write SQL on it. But when integrated it was so easy to write the SQLs and now our whole team has proper visibility of the data.
Also the query lambdas are really cool feature.

What do you dislike about the product?
We are using Retool for our operational dashboards. But right now for each query, I need to create a query lambda and separately add it in retool as resource. Thats a bit pain.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Operational and sales dashboard. We are building our CRM using retool and rockset powers analytics and "view" data there.
Great, fast service "That just works"
What do you like best about the product?
I was able to get a fully working prototype up in less than a day, which included end-to-end integration. i.e. data source <->Rockset<->API<->web app.
What do you dislike about the product?
The way they have only dedicated instances seems old school vs. auto-scale up and down to meet requirements.

What do you like best about the product?
Rockset provides easy integration with several data sources such as AWS DynamoDB and Kinesis streams which help us every day to keep our data synced. Rockset is an essential tool for our team as we can rely on this aggregated data to further visualize it in dashboards and export it. We found the support to be reactive and to respond quickly to the challenges we met in the use of the service.
What do you dislike about the product?
At this moment, we are fully satisfied with Rockset services. Some missing needed features were even added when requested by specific use cases.

We use Rockset to aggregate the data from different sources, especially AWS DynamoDB. With Rockset, we can further query this data efficiently and forward it to dashboards which help us better view detailed parameters.
Solved our growing pains
What do you like best about the product?
Rockset has transformed our approach to querying data. Setting things up and getting started was extremely easy and fluid. Their web app has made it easy to ingest new data sources, as well as write and test new queries.
On top of that, their customer support has been top-notch. They have the fastest and most responsive customer support I have seen amongst all the cloud service providers that we use.

What do you dislike about the product?
Performance tuning for queries seems to be important with Rockset. It would be nice to have some better documentation specifically on performance tuning. However, so far their support channels have mitigated the negatives that result from this weakness.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our company is growing fast, and our data needs have become more complex. As a result, our existing Mongo database has started to limit our capabilities. As our product set and our needs have expanded, we needed more flexibility with how we query our data. Rockset allows us to have the best of both worlds. Fast reads/writes with Mongo, and more complex queries with Rockset. It's no understatement to say that Rockset has saved our bacon.

Easy to use, and quick setup to start to work. You don't have to worry about hardware configurations, but just about data.

Sometimes queries run slowly and ends with timeout.

Query data from DynamoDB as it would be SQL.

The speed of the queries and how easy it is to integrate with other platforms.

It cannot be integrated into all databases yet, but I know they are working on it.

Rockset allows you to integrate several data sources and obtain information in real-time in a fast and easy way.
Rockset, an awesome tool to improve your analysis of data.
What do you like best about the product?
It is easy to configure and start to analyze data. The integrations are perfect without failure, is easy to talk with customer support people to solve problems. It is cheap, and you can start work without additional costs. Another important thing is that it is easy to use the rockset API to connect the different BI tools like Grafana, Power BI and Qlik Sense.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't think there is anything that I can dislike, Rockset helps our company to grow. Perhaps it is important to have the possibility to connect to Azure. Another good thing in the future is to have the possibility to build some kind of easy dashboards directly with rockset, but the opportunity to connect via API with any tool is enough nowadays.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use it to detect fraudulent activity, we have a real-time grafana dashboard to check our platform's health, and we use it to make our financial reports. We use to search data with queries because with dynamodb is a slow process, for that Rockset is a good tool to to make data discovery,
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is easy to configure. In one day, you can analyze your data, and it is easy to connect with PowerBi and Qlik.
Simple and easy. But also has it perks.

It's easy to get started. Gets the job done and does what it should do.

The performance is not always as great as you would expect. A bit more insight into how queries could be optimized and performance increased would be helpful.

Statistic calculation for a Web Application. Customers see in our Portal various statistics and information which gets aggregated and summarized using Rocket.

What do you like best about the product?
Rockset allows me to query anything, and it's so fast.
What do you dislike about the product?
The docs on query syntax could be better.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We got to our limit with what Mongo could do. Mongo is great for storing data and for direct retrieval, but queries are slow and cumbersome. Rockset allows us to query anything with want SQL style. Now our reports and analytics come from Rockset and our regular CRUD is in Mongo. It's a perfect match.
