Robust Game Engine for PC
What do you like best about the product?
I am often using Unreal for high-end pc based experiences
What do you dislike about the product?
The mobile side of the engine is lacking some features and takes long to test.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
High end visual fidelity and ease of use on PC platforms, especially VR.

Very robust engine
What do you like best about the product?
Graphics quality is amazing, the lights are very well made. It's pretty simple to use, it has a nice interface and the performance is great. It integrates with Maya so you can render the viewport with production materials and lights, it's also good to speed up render times for animations. Good for both games and animations. You can create AI even without coding, thanks to the blueprnits
What do you dislike about the product?
The materials are quite nonsense, for example glass is tricky to set. There are no physical parameters to set, but only numbers that modify attributes in an arbitrary way. The sequencer is good to render videos of animations, but it needs some refine because sometimes the interface is not clear enough. Maybe not the best choice for small games.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm using it to avoid days of renders for my animations, it runs real time flawless with a great quality.
Amazing game engine to work with
What do you like best about the product?
This is such a wholesome and easy game engine to create what you desire. the blueprint system couldn't get any better and easier. of course it is not easy for a newbie but you can learn as you go.
What do you dislike about the product?
Like I said the blueprint system coding is amazing, but it gets confusing sometimes and there no way of telling what you are doing wrong, a helping system could get implemented on it that might help users to correct their mistakes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
No problems yet so far. The benefit of it being absolutely free. just the 5% they take after you publish the game which is really nothing at all compared to what they give you in return.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Just play around with it for a while, don't let it get in your head at all. It takes time to learn this engine.
Unity and unreal developer
What do you like best about the product?
Unreal is used for developing games, software and other using c++. The power of the engine is awesome and the are many free and paid assets to make your projects better.
What do you dislike about the product?
The control system when user is in editor mode is not bad but there are other engine like unity3d that have a control system better and more intuitively
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
User friendly interfaces that allows user to develop easily 3d world an objects. The most benefits are the possibility to search documentation and the power of system.
Powerful. But not for everyone.

I really liked how u can use this engine. U can create everything u want but u have to know the basics things about this engine.

It's not really easy to use if u don't know how to program something.

If u dont' know anything about programation or is the first time that u are trying to do something, u have to stay focused more to reach your achievement. (Sorry for my bad eng but i'm italian)
What a beast for real time rendering.
What do you like best about the product?
The amount of tools you get in this app is like no other. The ease of use beats every other platform out there. All the competitors are playing catchup with the ease of use in Unreal Engine.
What do you dislike about the product?
It’s still a big learning curve but there’s a community out there to get you through it. That is, if you're dedicated to learning all the intricacies of how the software works.

As a game engine, the benefits of the innovations in the software are immediately appreciated. They are able to do real time visualization in a way not many other apps can. Look up the Childish Gambino tour to see how people are really pushing the envelope with the tech.

Give it a shot, it's free and you can really get a lot out of using and learning a new product. You might even develop the next killer app. A great example of someone who picked it up and made a product who could revolutionize how films are made, is Matt Workman. He created an app called Cine Tracer that helps filmmakers visualize shots in 3D with sets and lighting much like a real world application. If you can dream it, you can achieve it.

Unreal engine is widely used for the creation of high profile Triple A games. One of the down sides of using Unreal Engine is that for the working of Unreal Engine, you need an authorized copy of it for working and even need to pay the five percent charge once your game profits. Unreal is very easy to use and will accommodate both seasoned vets and beginners alike with it's easy to use C++ visual blueprint scripting process.

For it's lengthy existence it has a rather small knowledge base and some specific tutorials might be harder to find but they are growing their knowledge base every year.

Unreal is perfect for beginners and experts alike and is a very powerful tool to wield to make amazing games.

What do you like best about the product?
Its a good option for beginners because you have the blueprints, you have good tutorials for free and the community it's nice the forums and the examples and free project are really well and the assets store has a lot of free assets.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes you have problems with the cross between Mac and Windows, and inserting coding for specific functions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
2D y 3D videogames, a good engine for beginners that don't know how to coding in a language.

What do you like best about the product?
Dark Mode. My eyes thank it. Great workflow.
What do you dislike about the product?
UE4 Asset store is tiny and really pales to Unity's asset store.

Making interesting game experiences.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Great game dev engine that rivals Unity's ecosystem. Not nearly as user friendly due to native C++ implementation however Blueprints are a godsend when quickly protoyping.
