Not for my product
What do you like best about the product?
There is less need for engineering to be involved when adding in UI items to track
What do you dislike about the product?
It doesn't track the iFrame filters of my product, so it was more challenging to set up

What do you like best about the product?
I was able to jump right in to Heap and start using it. I found it intuitive and easy to work with. It provides the data I need and I can easily export it for other purposes.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't have anything I dislike as it serves the purpose that I need it for. If I have to go deeper into the product in the future as an admin, my rating may change.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have certain real time reporting that we need. Heap provides the data we need to do our jobs.

The ability to set event triggers while simultaneously using our product live.
What do you dislike about the product?
The learning curve to get good with heap.

We are assessing the success of feature releases and understanding user behaviour on the platform.

Set aside time during the initial phase to learn Heap's best practices and capabilities.
When data is everything
What do you like best about the product?
Heap is great in the level of detail it allows you to track. Pretty much everything that can happen on your website can be turned into valuable data points. It's pretty easy to set up your events to be tracked and Heap University fills in a lot of blanks to get you started.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a lot of data and if you aren't the one starting from scratch it can be a challenge to figure out what already exists and what doesn't
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Trying to better understand what my customers are doing and using events to trigger conversations in Intercom.
Heap it analytics on easy mode
What do you like best about the product?
Heap is pretty easy to pick up and use, even for non-technical folks. The initial integration is not particularly difficult and a non-analyst or non-engineer can then easily configure it to function correctly for their product.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing in particular. I've used Heap at a couple of companies now, and it's robust, but not that expensive. The UX and data visualization is great. It's almost data for dummies.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My company has been trying to get a better sense of the paths that people follow within our product so that we can help them find the things they need more efficiently than they do today.

Super easy to use. The analyze tools are super easy to use.
The event visualizer is super helpful and makes it super easy to create an event without needing the development team.

I love the event visualizer, but it's missing a more accurate event definitions (events not using css)

Heap helps our company become more data-driven, the dashboard help make it clear to see everything for every team in our company.

the Integration with our CRM was simple and had a lot of options for pulling data
What do you dislike about the product?
Building the custom reports are not as clear as i thought they would be, you have to understand the DB before just jumping in there

It enables us to pull data from our platform and analysis it as we see fit

Take your time to understand the data and your needs
Prefer it to Google Analytics
What do you like best about the product?
As a data scientist Heap Sync is incredible, saves a ton of engineering effort involved in getting engagement data into data lake.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not always obvious why Heap Sync puts some columns on some tables and not others, pulls in strange fields from Google Optimize
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Basic analytics & product engagement, as well as customer journey and sales funnel analysis. Looking into specific feature performance. Creating user profiles and segments.

Amazing data analysis tools that allow you to explore data in any way imaginable, I've only scratched the surface so far.
What do you dislike about the product?
Complexity can be overwhelming at first.

Understanding the impact of different software features and processes
Suepr helpful tool beyond just for sales
What do you like best about the product?
One of my favorite research tools even though it is commonly geared towards sales teams. The ability to search for keywords, search for specific speakers, set up alerts for terms, and look at metrics/frequency around topics is just amazing.
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly, nothing that I've come acrossed so far.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to tap into insights that otherwise live in siloed conversations that are not being documented anywhere. This is an incredible resource that everyone should be aware of.
