  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It offers, in my opinion, a user-friendly design that is intuitive and makes creating and customizing dashboards simple.

Moreover, a broad variety of data sources are supported, including well-known databases like MySQL and PostgreSQL.

The finest feature is that it enables you to create alerts based on particular metrics or conditions and receive notifications via email, Slack, and PagerDuty.
What do you dislike about the product?
I believe that learning how to use all of its features and capabilities properly takes time for new users.
Grafana may need a lot of processing power and memory because it might be resource-intensive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It solves the main issue of visualizing and monitoring complex data sets. Its capability to share dashboards and collaborate with others on monitoring and visualization projects can help teams work more efficiently and effectively, improving communication and knowledge sharing.

Setting up alerts on PagerDuty, mail is the main advantage to detect anmoly.

What do you like best about the product?
Easy of configuration and plug & play setup for multiple datasource is one of the key point. The ability to create library panel, share dashboard and properly manage different ACL based on users, together with SAML integration are core features.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't think that there are negative points about it. Mainly, the thing is that you should keep backup of dashboard by yourself, to be able to restore different version in case of unwanted changes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using it to visualize data for our internal product test laboratory, together with our after-sales service department using it for IoT data visualization.

What do you like best about the product?
Grafana is free and open source tool. Its best for service monitoring and sensor monitoring. In grafana, we get graphs to visualize different metrics. We used it for capturing cpu, memory utilization graphs for PODs and containers. Its very easy to understand.
What do you dislike about the product?
Grafana has limited dashboard designs. It doesn't have data visualization like Microstrategy, Power BI tools. Its mostly focused on visualization if time series.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We used Grafana for graphical visualization of metrics like disk, cpu and other service related to our container and different clusters. We can add different metrics together in this to compare graphically.

Grafana's extensive library of graphs and images allows users to create stunning data visualizations that provide instantaneous insights into the data set. It allows connection with many different data sources, including SQL, Excel, and CSV ( SQLite, MongoDB, PostgreSQL etc.). The prepared dashboards may be shared and shown on the main screen of the network operation center when they are viewed in a web browser. The dashboards created may be customized and are adaptable.
