Amplitude is very informative and helpful!
What do you like best about the product?
The customer success team, specifically my point of contact - Alex, is always there to answer my questions and brainstorm how to get the data I want. The chat feature is also very quick and can help answer basic questions.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is difficult to measure the time a user spends on the page, which can be difficult as that is a common statistic needed in the commerce space. I'd also like the ability to add headers to the dashboards to label specific sections.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Amplitude Analytics is helping my team track the conversion of users purchasing products though NBCUCheckout. I can see granular data of where users are falling off in the process and use these stats to drive product improvements.
Making charts was never that easy with Amplitude!
What do you like best about the product?
What I like about Amplitude is that you can add custom properties and then filter or group by; it is very convenient.
What do you dislike about the product?
The "initial_utm..." user traits are a little bit confusing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps us in the way that we know what is happening with our platform. We can easily inspect all the sequence of events that occurred, by each user.
It has been a fantastic way to analyse your app's retention and other metrics.
What do you like best about the product?
What I love most is the fact that I can create cohorts on a significantly deeper level for analysis. It helps in understanding the power users and churned users on a much deeper level.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's no downside to using amplitude. The only dislike is on the limit of number of events that one can have. Higher volume of events increases costs so pricing could be better.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helping us analyse what we could do to improve our retention metrics and have a deeper analysis of different cohorts of users and what impacts them. Also, the variety in terms of charts and cohort level analysis is helping us significantly.

Sometimes the Amplitude system and the rendering are kind of to slow

I can check the product life-cycle and identify some points of improvements
Easiest and most cost effective way to setup user-level events tracking and analytics.
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use when setting up user-level event tracking. Amplitude can save vast of custom development which was previously required. On top of that, it enables you to slice and dice data to get insights quickly and feed dynamic cohorts to your favourite marketing tools and systems.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's cumbersome to reference session-based metrics with event-based events, making it impossible to create dynamic cohorts of users who, say, spend at least X minutes in your app and perform some series of events.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tracking of north star metrics, getting key business insights and user flows. Furthermore, building a personalised user experience which leads to better funnel conversions.

What do you like best about the product?
As a former user researcher, I spent a lot of time writing SQL queries to get basic information about our product's usage. With Amplitude, I can collect data about which actions drive retention, discover which steps in a user flow are unintuitive, and forecast our MAU in just a few minutes.
What do you dislike about the product?
Getting the correct data into Amplitude can be difficult. Verifying that I have good data is also hard. Our data, thus far, has been directionally useful. But I wouldn't confidently present it in an earnings report.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Customer calls and surveys are great at uncovering user problems. However, it's hard to properly prioritize work without knowing how many people are affected by those user problems. Surveys are not a reliable way to get unbiased data. There is often a gap between what people report about their behavior and their actual behavior. Reliable usage data mitigates this problem. Amplitude makes collecting and analyzing that data quick and easy. Nine times out of ten, I'll hop into Amplitude if I need data on user behavior. I'll reach out to our product data team for more complex data needs.

What do you like best about the product?
Visualizations are intuitive, fast to set up, and performance is far better than other reporting tools.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is room for improvement in terms of flexibility of visualizations.

Fast, reliable, self-service capable product analytics.
Knowing about analytics
What do you like best about the product?
This language is easier to comprehend because it is comparable to SQL. It is simple to create charts and do comprehensive analyses. I appreciate how simple it is to set titles and categories using the new method of controlling events and attributes. We also offer other choices for doing a comprehensive analysis.
What do you dislike about the product?
New users have a long way to go before using some of the platform's more advanced features.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Amplitude lets us immediately see what we did not know about our data. Previously, our entire data team was required to produce dashboards for us to filter and create funnels.
Great for quick views, but I miss more cohorts functionalities

Data that has little delay to be read - helps us avoid disasters

I can't connect Amplitude to my Experiment Platform, in order to create dashboards that are aligned with test groups as they are formed

Best Analytics Tool
What do you like best about the product?
The best thing in Amplitude is the forecast tool. It's great to have a preview of the results based in historical data.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't think the visual part is so friendly. It'd be great to customize the charts to make the visualization easier.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Amplitude is solving the data analysis in my company, making it easier to raise hypotheses and draw up action plans.
