You have to instrument your code, but that adds more insights.

Real product analytics
What do you like best about the product?
Real product analytics for data-informed orgs.
What do you dislike about the product?
It takes time to feed your product data into Amplitude, so you'll need organizational buy-in to make it happen at a decent pace.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Most product teams start by using tools like Google Analytics, but they're not made for products and they usually sample data. Amplitude helps us see the whole picture and zoom in where we need to without losing any data.
Amplitude the best friend for data-driven companies
What do you like best about the product?
Amplitude, in my opinion, is the easiest tool to make charts but also to interpret them for any data-driven company. I would highly recommend it compared to any other one which are really complex and most of the time confusing.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't have many disliking. The only chart that I find confusing is the Impact analysis which is difficult to understand because the time range that it shows is always -14 to +14 days from a starting date. But as it doesn't show the starting date in the chart, it's really difficult to use it. I hope that in the upcoming months it will be improved. Because it is one of the charts that I would use the most.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
One of the problems that Amplitude helps us to solve the most are the conversions, thanks to the Funnel Chart. Thanks to it, we know at any instance which step needs most of our attention.

Great tool to learn more about your customers, also easy to use for non-technical employees
What do you like best about the product?
Amplitude is such a helpful tool for all your employees to learn about:
* how your overall business is going and how business units are performing,
* how your customers behave on your product,
* which paths they take,
* which product features bring the most value, and many more insights are waiting to be unlocked.
Non-technical employees can also answer their questions with easy-to-create charts, all by themselves.
The most important thing is to have a good event tracking set up, so then anyone who has access to your Amplitude space trusts your data.

What do you dislike about the product?
* only the first 10K rows of chart data can be exported via csv.
* time range can be selected 3 years at the widest in Cohorts.
so sometimes it is difficult to do deep-dive analysis in Amplitude with a wide range of big data.

Amplitude Analytics
What do you like best about the product?
Very good onboarding process. They are committed to ensuring our success and seeing value returned from their product.
The product itself has rich visualization/analysis features that helps us to understand user behavior in our products. We are able to segment and map user journeys very easily. Work that could not be done in google analytics can be done here. Work that typically requires months to create can be achieved in hours.

What do you dislike about the product?
With any analytics platform, it is important to set up your instrumentation properly. Work required to do this is quite complex, and does require a significant investment in engineering hours to set up Amplitude's event tracking correctly.

Amplitude Analytics Review
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use, provides accurate data in real-time, extremely user-friendly and easy for non-technical end users to quickly pull the metrics they care about. Way more visibility into valuable insights than other web analytics tools
What do you dislike about the product?
lack of customization when creating dashboards and visualizations in terms of displaying key metrics for certain chart types, inability to size charts into 1/3 of the row
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Identifying friction points and unexpected errors in key user journeys, tracking the success of new feature implementations against key metrics, pulling out valuable insights around retention and stickiness based on commonly exhibited user behaviors, allowing our organization to leverage data proactively to shape our strategy and business goals.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would highly recommend to anyone looking for an accurate, user-friendly data analytics tool to help their organization make data-driven business decisions
User friendly rich tool with awesome account support
What do you like best about the product?
The main upside - it's fast, much faster to use Amplitude than have the queries created by the Analytics team in Redash for example.
Very user-friendly intuitive user experience design in terms of creating the queries, charts or dashboards or notebooks.
Quite rich help area and questions submitted via chat are answered pretty quickly. Plus very attentive customer success team.

What do you dislike about the product?
No obvious dislikes yet. Just need more time to explore all the wealth of capabilities offered by the tool because we mainly rely on several chart types while there are so many more.
One enhancement suggestion I provided was to be able to set the color legend for the dashboard so that for example charts grouped by the same criteria used the same colors for the respective groups.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Allows our product management team to be pretty self-sufficient in analyzing data, and even with Analytics team involved, they also need to spend significantly less time than before.
Besides being able to look for optimization opportunities within mobile and web channels individually, we can also now track and analyze users moving across multiple channels.
Something else we are starting to experiment with is involving Marketing and specifically integrating Amplitude with Marketing Cloud and analyzing various cohorts of users and then creating communication optimizations targetting specific cohorts.

Know How Your Users Use Your Product
What do you like best about the product?
I love how we can get actionable insights into how our user are using our product. We've been able to measure growth, find key pain points, and disprove assumptions using Amplitude.
What do you dislike about the product?
Amplitude's performance has seemed lacking from time to time. Normally they are quick on the visuals and processing, but about once a month it is laggy. That' s about it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We no longer need engineers to visualize product engagement metrics. Instead Amplitude allows everyone to see how their customers are interacting with the product.
